I get you but it's really not our fault whether the comments/reviews are balanced or not, you have the show to thank for that. Everyone is free to watch what they want and like what they want but they also can decide to read what most people think of the drama too to decide if it's worth watching or not but I digress.

agreed, whatever the backstory is with him and hibiki, has been long overdue, whatever happened doesn't justify all of the stuff he's pulled

I don't mean that either, I'm referring to recent years too. I really haven't come across these kind of shows that often but I do see this kind of plot sometimes in shoujo manga live action movies though but not often in jdramas. These are actually uncommon (but not popular either), just every now and then there's dramas like Coffee & Vanilla

I mean, we aren't attacking the subber's subs or the subber, we're giving our opinions on the show. I can see how it might discourage the subber but I can see there's still an audience for it and we're both still sharing what we feel about the drama, so there's that

Exactly, dramas like these are actually uncommon, it just so happens that every once in a while there's dramas like these in some seasons (and this kind of show or genre isn't even all that popular to begin with) and I hope people don't think this is what people think what jdramas have to offer with their shows or films
