there's a remake of his one https://mydramalist.com/4613-gto-remake-season-1 with more characters that you'll probably recognize but many say Sorimachi nails the Onizuka character more and overall prefer the original more lol. would love to know your thoughts if you decided to watch it!

I tried watching the anime but just couldn't, you can tell it's soooo catered towards men since there's so many "fan-service" and very much pandering to the male gaze. Gave up and loved this drama more.

He really won't be forgotten, there's so many great works that he's done. Still think about him from time to time.

I respectfully disagree, this was a great adaptation and took good care of the characters, even with the newly added daughter. This was a fresh take and I'd love to see if the anime will be on par with this one or not.

Is that really the doctor's motivations though? I feel like he's doing everything be it lying to people, killing people or using his own people to protect whatever or whoever is in that freezer. I don't think his true motivations are to be seen as a hero.

omg episode 7... despite getting spoiled, that episode was amazingly written, i'm so emotionally exhausted after that intense & really emotional episode and the way Min-jun was written off from start to end was so heartbreaking but also bittersweet especially when they carried him to a hill to let him see and take a picture of the sunset and sending the picture to his sister was when it broke me, such a devastating episode. did anyone else notice his eyes turning from red to black after getting stabbed in the head?

love how you can see the character developments crystal clear throughout the show when it comes to literally every character in this and how justified everyone's feelings and motivations are, props to the writers, they know what they're doing ^^

Takeuchi Ryoma, Takito Kenichi & Kim Jae Hyun's acting were nothing short of amazing in this one, but ESPECIALLY Ryoma and Kenichi in this episode, been a fantastic show so far

and oh, fuck Todoroki PERIOD I don't think I'm a fan of the fact that his beef with Hibiki's backstory still not being explained yet to the viewers even when we're already this far into the series.. it's been long overdue already but until then I still hate him and whatever happened before, I'm sure doesn't justify all of the bullcrap he's pulled

Fanservice on top of fanservice and the woman keeps getting pulled into rooms by men and looks uncomfortable getting seduced every time, yikes. Another Coffee & Vanilla but worse because men are always forcing themselves onto her, that's a big no no
