Calling it right now, the next two main leads in season two is Kanae and Todoroki. Kanae's got a bow and now has become someone who's stronger in pretty much every aspect. Todoroki's got a gun, they can survive on their own. With Kurumi's death in Ep8, I have a feeling Hibiki would most likely die or get killed sooner or later.
There's that and Marie Iitoyo & Show Kasamatsu are confirmed to be appearing in season two.. but not Nakami Ayajo & Ryoma Takeuchi just yet but I think I'll still stick around just to see how the story ends, I won't drop it just because Ryoma won't be around but I'll probably miss him at some point.
edit: on second thought Hibiki is getting a different look in s2 so ignore what I said lol
wow I actually gasped when Hibiki actually shot Kurumi with the bow but makes sense when he's become so bloodthirsty for revenge like Tsuboi told him, I don't blame him for leaving the island because there's no reason for them to fight the SDF when they could just leave safely. With Kurumi's death, I legitimately don't know where they're going with this. Kurumi has to be confirmed dead, right? Hibiki even picked her up and sent her to the SDF, don't think she's showing up in season two... and maybe Hibiki. Did anyone else notice Kurumi mentioned thanks to Shuto saving her, she's been able to hang on to live by a thread and then the ending/flashback scene (at the end) is a scene of Hibiki putting on a thread onto Kurumi's ring finger to measure for a ring he would later on buy for her?
I noticed some are finding it off-putting that *so far* that the longer this show goes, the more this show has no real or continuing plot and is confusing but isn't that what would happen in this kind of world? Isn't it realistic how this situation would drive everyone crazy, push everyone to the limit and everyone would feel confused and lost? Should they look for the truth? Should they find a way to survive? Should they look for a vaccine? Are they better off being alone or staying together? Is killing all of those zombies justified? Even us viewers aren't sure where this show's headed and I personally don't have a problem with that because not only it's been a thrilling ride but mainly the characters themselves are all lost and trying to figure out what to do in the moment, which is understandable
What is with Kurumi backhugging evil Doc? I get that she was consoling him but I don't know why it made me uncomfortable.Kurumi…
I mean, he's the only reason why she's still alive so.
Ikr lol, the apocalypse has been going on for so long and as expected and as shown, it has drove many people including Hibiki crazy.
Really like Kanae a whole lot more now too, thought she would be one of those annoying girls who wouldn't do anything but cause trouble but glad it wasn't the case
Is it bad that I low-key wouldn't be upset if Kurumi dies? I feel like Kanae is a more compelling female character…
Thanks to Kurumi (thanks to Todoroki for making things complicated, yay) being brainwashed, we haven't gotten the chance to fully know her so makes sense for us to like Kanae who's a more fleshed out & developed character more.
I didn't interpret it as DV but I'm confused about the phrase. Is it as direct translation? During the ramen scene…
I didn't understand it until the ramen scene with Sakura, I guess maybe it is just him being all intimidating and intense and it gets people around him to behave cautiously
Yup, it is official in my eyes.. with more cameos appearing in episode 8 and with all of these references, side characters and cameos, it really feels like an 'appreciation' or a tribute drama for Tomoya's past works, so many actors and actresses Tomoya co-starred/worked with before are appearing in this show. There's IWGP, Unubore Deka, Tiger & Dragon. it's so bittersweet since this is his last drama as a Johnny's and he'll be leaving very soon ;_; the director must love tomoya
TRUST ME - it is as bad as other people are saying. There is no plot or character development whatsoever, the…
I don't agree with your comment about recent jdramas seemingly looking like soft-porn at all, makes me curious to know what recent ones have you been watching if you're making that comment. There's many great recent jdramas out there and they are nowhere close to looking like some softcore porn. I honestly think dramas like this paint a bad picture when ppl outside of jdrama fandom try to watch jdramas and then they come across these.
But if there are some who enjoy this.. then you do you but this is not the norm you'll see in japan's shows and films.
Does anyone know what exactly Yuka was talking about in the discussion she had with Juichi in Ep7? She mentioned Juichi had "murderous intents" all the time at home, always wrestling at home? I'm probably wrong but is it possible she's talking about domestic abuse? Seems unlikely considering they get along just fine up until now so I'm confused on what exactly is she talking about?
There's tons more of these, not every jdrama has the "anime-like" acting, those are in *some* of those shoujo…
Haven't watched that many romance jdramas myself but #Remolove, Cherry Magic & Koi wa Tsuzuku yo Doko Made mo are three popular romance dramas from last year, all three are highly recommended :)

Also just sounds like you're being unnecessarily provocative for no reason, just drop it if it doesn't interest you and go on with your day.
