purely me guessing on the final episode preview from ep9, i think hibiki and kurumi are stuck at the camp and dr. shuto let go of the golems or something and that's why there's a huge amount of blood on them

min-jun's twin(?)!! and kurumi possibly turning into a golem?? And that "hope house" aka emergency shelter gives me "the Beach" from Alice in Borderland vibes like how and why is there an extraordinary place like that here suddenly

Despite them showing flashbacks of them when they were together, there's really not much for us to feel like we should root for them to be together.. like it feels forced. The story tells its viewers that we should root for them but the romance has been really cliche..
