This drama is really good, there's a reason why this drama is always being highly recommended for fans of the psychological genre as it is regarded as one of the very best dramas of the psychological genre. Do watch this for the games and the players now and then.

If it helps, you can see both the male & female leads' gradual character development & their relationship throughout the series. And season two imo gets better.

Apparently the subber changed Akiyama's line from "I can't lie?" as in "Is it wrong to lie?" after Nao asks "you really like to lie" to "Can you live with my lies?" hahah I can't blame them, I shipped them so hard too.

Oh well, Nao followed Akiyama so I choose to believe they still keep in touch

I found Ore na Hanashi wa Nagai to be similar to this, a realistic slice of life drama that's very heartwarming, chill and laid back and everyone has chemistry with each other

There's also Neechan no Koibito, Cherry Magic for more heartwarming, relaxing romcoms.
