I finished episode 4 . Ya its good no doubt but after having watched way too many jdrama i m missing the japanese…
it is a Netflix production after all, it has to cater towards international fans too. That's why there's a few things different from the manga and made it more action-packed.
Her acting was great really but honestly we didn't get to know her that much and didn't know much of her and his…
Unfortunately not at all but I can totally see what the story they're trying to tell but tbh had there been more of her character then probably.. though I feel like that would take over the whole episode so idk
Whatever Todoroki's deal is with Kurumi & Hibiki, I hope it isn't as simple and dumb or childish as being jealous of their relationship or anything that sounds like some high school drama. He's been really frustrating throughout the whole show and I hope whatever his reasoning is for having an attitude towards Hibiki is justifiable at the very least, curious to know how exactly Hibiki betrayed him apparently..
Ep 4. Why wasn't I even a slightest moved by that girl and her golem boyfriend?
Her acting was great really but honestly we didn't get to know her that much and didn't know much of her and his boyfriend's backstory so it wasn't emotional enough to pull on the heartstrings.
Watched the first few episodes and wow, I'm liking it a lot. That part with zombies being attracted to blood in Episode 2 reminded me of Left 4 Dead if anyone here has played that game. Definitely planning to bingewatch the rest of the episodes so far and I can look past the zombies' makeup looking like they had diarrhea crap smeared all over their faces and the red vampire eyes, lol. Really like the stunning cinematography, the music, the acting especially Ryoma, he's killing it rn..
It's also starting to look like it's not your typical apocalyptic/zombie drama, there's more to this show.
edit: Episode 5 was so good, so much progression in that episode!!
It's hard to believe it's already been 2 years since this iconic drama aired, I still remember having to wait in anticipation for the next episodes to air ;_;
I'm hearing many people say the 7 of ♥️s game in Episode 3 was the darkest episode and heartbreaking.. which it was, honestly one of the most emotional and heartbreaking episodes I have ever seen so far in my experience of years of watching jdramas.
But I find the 10 of ♥️s in Episode 7-8 to be the darkest. With the militants chasing and gunning people down, Niragi having the time of his life sniping people and shooting people while on his way to the roof, Last Boss burning the resort so they have no choice to leave and the militants burning their corpses. Especially with them showing scenes of many people getting brutally shot via cameras and how they looked eerily real (that was like, a whole minute of people just dying like nothing) and there's that part where one of the militants refuse to acknowledge he's about to shoot a person begging for mercy and refusing to acknowledge that's a human being before pulling the trigger was haunting. A huge amount of people that've died in that game can never go back to the real world, their families and their loved ones.
People only say episode 3 was the darkest because they got to know the characters but people were dying left and right in episode 8.
