Tatsuya betting on a horse racing was so random I was worried they'd turn him into a comedic character but thankfully that wasnt the case lol

But this episode wow, I did not see Nozomi's sudden change coming. But I totally understand why she's become the complete opposite of herself. Everyone comes to her place, preaching this and that but she wants them to reflect on themselves.

At the end of every episode after the next week's preview, they show a sneak peek of the spin off where the characters are all in a school setting. It's clearly not "cannon" as it features Masa, Himawari, the waitress, and the young police officer as Tatsu's home ec students. The episodes are 10 minutes long each and I heard it's hilarious.

It's only available on Japan Hulu and afaik, nobody seems to have the RAW videos for them :/

chances of being able to watch spin offs when it comes to jdramas is unfortunately rather low and im hoping its not the case here even though it most likely is too.

I think Japan is not that bothered by the age gap when it comes to relationships. Take a look at the celebrity couples today (not saying most!), I see lots of age gaps between the two people.

No way you forgot about him if you watched it lol. He's a supporting role but is in every episode lol. He played as Hijiri's (Kasumi Arimura) fiance.

Same here, it had me invested when episode 6 took a turn and was suddenly heavier than usual and imo, they didn't follow up with anything remarkable.

Not to say the last episode was bad but quite lackluster after watching episode 6. Still a fun drama nonetheless!

Just watched the first episode, wow! Kou Shibasaki already very impressive with her acting.. I totally believe she's the real 10 year old Nozomi.

jdramas tend to get lower ratings because mdl are mostly kdrama fans really

but actually yesterday (or few days ago?) apparently the rating algorithm was updated so a bunch of dramas have seen shifts in their rating unfortunately :(

This drama was promising, you can tell this was going to be a great drama. I wish we got to see the full story. My heart aches every time his character smiles because he's got such a big contagious smile. RIP Haruma Miura, miss you even more after watching this.

Episode 6 though, wow. I did not see that coming from this show! It was a heavy episode compared to the previous ones..

Haru's character in this is really cute hahah you can't help but geek out with her

The jump cuts were definitely there for comedy effect but there was absolutely too much of that, it was bothering me as well.
