Can someone please explain the gang dynamics? I'm confused by the Busan players, the professor lady and Ki Chul's man who seems to be double crossing him with some dude in Busan? 😩
I have little to none patience for draggy dramas with annoying characters and stupid misunderstandings
Unsure of your reasons for your stern words here.
I know the difference between reality and dramas. I know the standards that men/woman should be keeping in real life (implying that I know this & ofcourse basic behaviour we should expect - in terms of 'flags')
I meant in k-dramas this is a pretty green flag character. This is because most CEOs chaebols are horrible to FL. There's also BTS of filming KTL and Junho was asked to shrug off affection from FL and Junho said 'that's not the kind of character he wants to portray.'
Anyways, I don't need to defend my comment, no way did I say that this is the standard we need to be keeping IRL. I meant in kdramas, there's always arguments between the couple, poor toxic behaviour and most audiences eat that up. In this drama I saw them communicating and behaving maturely, asking for consent prior to kissing.

There's no misunderstandings. The couple are mature and communicate well. I also went in just for Junho but FL surprised me. And I stayed because it was healthy relationship and seeing him being the greenest flag character ever was great (much needed after the trauma that was TRS). There's also a TRS reference in there too. I would watch it for him. Don't expect drama/tension.
No, it has always been 5yrs gap between Zhizhi and Jiaxu
Yes she was 14 for the first episode only and then it skips to 2 years later where they meet again when she's 16. Its one-sided and he's not being weird or anything. And then it skips again to main story where she's 19-20 I think.
This was my first cdrama (and one that I've completed). So good! Beautiful love story. 🥺 I will never be a fan of dubbing/high pitched voices, but I liked that the female lead dubbed this herself.
Can someone recommend a cdrama like this please (not high-school/teen love though)? Or a link to a good list.
A comment below by @Ivy hits the mark on the ratings drop (that and the "arab prince" controversy unfortunately). Just a shame there's people lingering here to bring down the hard work of others.
"It is absolutely insane to me that every time we get a romcom that includes a murder plot or something other convoluted plot device we'll have people screaming that they just want a straight up romcom without all that. We get one and y'all tear it to pieces." - @Ivy. I second this!
And as a Lee Junho fan, I'm disappointed that some fans are but-hurt with KTL. He's being pressured for not doing a dark/extremely emotional role like that in The Red Sleeve, he himself said he needed something lighter after that show, as it was mentally taxing. The man needs to do these big commercial projects to build his profile in order to later take on roles that some people seem to only want from him. Jeez, give him a break.
Can't wait for this but I don't understand why there's a part 2? What if part 1 does poorly and there's no demand for it. I know it won't, due to the cast, but that's banking alot on them to bring in the viewers no? Must be Netflix's doing to split one season into 2 parts.
I'm sorry to say it outloud. But after King land, i'm not sure if i can handle to see another brainless show,…
Turning your brain off for his dramas? Its just one romcom that he did. Others have not been. KTL was necessary for his portfolio (a very green flag character), to prove to himself and others that he can do that kind of genre. Plus he said he needed something light after TRS. I think he's just playing around with different genres, clearly he wants action of some sort for the next project. But yes, emotionally gripping shows like TRS is where people generally win awards and recognition.
I've read she will play his younger sister, not a romantic interest? Anyways I'm not really feeling this drama as next one after KTL. Not sure about it. I'll support him regardless.
Lee Junho's cameo was soo random, LOL. But he looked mighty fine, even though there were no lines (which is a shame). 👀🤭🥵 His cameo in My Dearest, which was his voice only, was way better!

I can't seem to find any drama since, maybe I should just rewatch this.
