It's really triggering for me, that people justify ML lies, and mind games, but FL is the worst. Also he seems to be little passive-agressive sometimes. Anyway - Zi Guang, as sender - welp, it can kill him. Now, he's having his lil playing time, sending especially to ML some bits of informations, but imo it can backfire on him. And i think, that the instastory, or weibo or whatever app FL used lol XD was the most genuine moment of her. But i think, she's unaware of that, herself. Reaction on Xiao Mei's confession - lol, that's the spirit. Again, ML twisted it, and i think he get the intentions. Still, i think he sees bigger picture. That FL of course lies, but has reasons for that. And again - she didn't do so, to scam him or smth. Rather to cut ties from her complicated family.
So really imo ganging up on FL :P is weird to me. Because she didn't murder anybody, she just want to be on her own, and cut her family, which doesn't give a crap for years. And even the room thing - if it's true, and FL just playing cool about it - imo it's just too cruel. Also the shoe thing- Step Father just should go dunno where..to hell? To push your own child further, you are cruel demon to the FL. And i really feel her - unwanted, even to this day, she was right - she's an extra in the family. So bye. And again - people triggered by her lies - i would also lie, from embarassment, that i'm part of this shithead, biased family. Also i think ML redeem himself a little, and got a great point - for him, the Copyright was the starting point, and not so much money, if he's rich. But the whole story behind it - for FL it was whole life, her blood and tears, for spoiled brat, i mean step-sis, it was simple another "Buy my Daddy" crap. Also one more thing - about her selling and earrings - i think ML clocking that would benefit them. Because yeah imo FL had that seller attitude - and probably doesn't know what she likes, trully.
Well i think this drama, has it own charm. And i like it, because it's different. First of all ML seems to be little, how to i put it...maybe little too dull. But at the same time, i think he's painted that way on purpose. It's a fairytale, he must be the Prince Charming in the story - good looking, having a palace...do we ever know more about characters of prince's in fairytales? Or they were there only to save their princesses? :P and be that perfect fantasy?
At the other hand we have FL - and i must say, that even she's potrayed as little shallow, goldigger i must say i'm so sorry for her. She has that complicated family dynamic, that it seems, family doesn't care much about her, and they are more oriented on their own issues. Mother is into her new family and try to create some fantasy with her step daughter, so the husband will be happy, and totally ignores FL. At the same time, father in my opinion, plays role of the wallet, and is rather emotionally cold, and more invested into his new family also.
So i think FL really need that fantasy, to somehow cope with all this crap. She needs that fairytale, perfect life, to show everybody, how she's now perfectly fine..but imo she's not. Also about ML - i wouldn't make him so stupid. He rather quickly grasped , most of the lies of FL. And of course, he seems to live in a big denial, but simple i have impression he's smarter, than that. Simple, he's playing along, and sometimes even find excuses for FL, even when everything screams, it's a lie. Still, i think he's playing along to make her happy.
And i get, that for most of the people, what FL is doing, would be a deal breaker. Still, i have impression, and that's only my interpretation...when for example his workers, were pointing out, FL flaws, and her shallow intentions, i had impression, he simple is aware, that FL didn't married him to scam him per se, nor steal from him etc. More it's , again - fairytale fantasy, and living like a princess. I think in his eyes, FL have need to be pampered, being cared of etc.
Also i know that title has silly undertone. But if we think about it, this title is imo to some extend sad, and cruel. And also talk about srs stuff - about fake, social media life, creating fake persona, lifestyle, relations etc. Also keep in mind, FL is very overdramatic on purpose. Also if you think about it, she's little people pleaser - and i think some of her doing, are because she thinks, because her husband is wealthy, that she must have certain image, which will fit it - that perfect wife style. And yeah i think FL has also some perfectionist issues.
So where i'm going with this rambling lol...i think, in rather comedy style, is a bitter commentary about FL wanting that perfect life, and having some projection of it, in her head. That's why, everything is so extra. But i think, because ML , especially after 6 ep, starts to see, how downhill this is going, i think FL will have some breakdown, and imo the starting point, to have really happy ending, will be when FL will understand, that Cinderella, didn't have that perfect life. And maybe sticking to the step sis role is better?
Also it's funny how she sees herself, and i think that also make it so twisted - where she mention she 's feeling like that in the context of her mother and step-sis. And the whole fuss about the bag. Again, it sound shallow, but it seems, that everybody were placing her as 2nd, and she simple wants to be 1st, and be princess in her own story. Ok, i'm done with the rambling lol XD
