I don't know if you remember the drama much after all these years (plus I believe back then there wasn't any decent…
LOL YES I'm fluent in mandarin so I've seen everything of it in mandarin - yeah unfortunately i've heard a bit of how much the subs suck :-( it has indeed been a darn long time and I haven't really actively thought of/talked about RN lately but it doesn't change the fact that it's still my all-time drama. great to see more new people getting into it!!
lol reading some of the comments here again and having a chuckle. yes that's right - no "quite" - i AM biased to lakorns. :) what are you going to do about it? stop me from having opinions and acquiring taste? and most of all, last i checked, this is my PERSONAL list and i'm not claiming to be the voice of authority?? i know leaving comments on the internet is free but come on.
otherwise, thank you everyone else who did not leave mean comments and are nice. you're all very welcome. love you all <3
watched this for zhu yi long and stayed for the sweet, delicious melodrama. what great popcorn. it has been some time since I watched this and now I'm unashamed to say I enjoyed it a lot.
Hi i am that commenter before who's been restraining herself to watch this while airing. AND NOW I ALREADY FINISHED…
agree, the last few episodes were off in tone - not the most desirable - but i don't think it's fatal especially when the story had its own fulfilling twist eventually. the leads acting and chemistry are really what made the drama - if that's what you're in for, you won't be disappointed ever
hi everyone, I've started subbing some Lin Yushen interviews which he did during Dating in the Kitchen promo period since I learnt from some people that they didn't seem to be subbed yet. do check out if you're curious :) https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLZsQ1WuX5NOV7H0zWaNeweC60CPL69ryF
(not sure yet if I'll be subbing everything, especially not if they're already subbed - if anyone knows if any of them have already been subbed, feel free to let me know!)
It's almost guaranteed that Pupu and Yan Liang both died - pupu died because ZDS did not bring her to the hospital…
Thanks for the real long comment haha. I've read some of these interpretations from Chinese commentaries/reviews too but I haven't really came across speculations on how Yan Liang died - cool, I learnt new things about the show again. Yeah absolutely, if anyone examines the little loopholes in the "fictionalised" story that we SEE, we'll find that a lot of things don't match up and we will discover the truth beneath. But if you overlook all those, it's also entirely possible to just get away believing in the "fairytale" and think everyone's alive and well, choosing to believe in what you want to. That's something I really really appreciated about the drama - leaving room for interpretation and imagination and there were so many carefully designed details too.
