I see. It's a beautiful end in itself. Just a little rushed and a lack of explanation on some things (like the fate of the Ashile tribe, what becomes of Senior Qin and so on). But it is okay.
The political chaos has been settled. Peace has been established in Tang and the rest of the countries of the North. Most of the characters are alive and happy. It's great!

It makes sense that after Khatun's misdeeds and Mimi's death, Sher withdraws from the "competition" and A'Sun takes on the responsibilities he never wanted as tribe leader.

A'Sun is truly an extraordinary man. I wonder when we'll see a character like that again.

I appreciate that the drama doesn't try to demonize Changge's dad. He did something terrible by confusing his concubine and raping Changge's mother He was also a strict and ambitious man. But he was Changge's father and I like that Changge does not forget him even when she finds out the secret of her birth. As well as the fact her mother feels guilty for causing the death of her husband.

Episode 43-44: Why is Mimi stabbing A'Sun? What is the discussion between Sher and Mimi and what does Mimi say that "betrays Changge"?
Episode 46: Why is A'Sun delivered to Khatun when Tang was the one who arrested him? What does Changge's mother say to the uncle when she sees blood on his armor?

Personally, seeing the wedding of the main couple is not what I expect the most. Many stories end with leads as a couple but before they get married. The important thing is to know that they are together.
However, I've seen people say it's an open ending for the couple and I don't understand. If they are a couple and together at the end, how is that an open ending?

If someone who has seen and understood the ending can post it and explain it, I will build you a statue!

My little heart is so not ready for tomorrow. I hate endings! I often don't finish a series because I don't like the feeling or because I'm afraid the end will disappoint me xD

It's literally one of the things that makes this drama so great. I was sick of seeing sweet, cute SFL who was friend with the FL go completely crazy and evil for love. Or obsessive, possessive, manipulative's behaviour from second leads.
The characters are all "human". Even the bad guys have nuance and we don't see them enough to be angry.
