Episode 43-44: Why is Mimi stabbing A'Sun? What is the discussion between Sher and Mimi and what does Mimi say…
Thank you very much for taking the time to answer me in such detail!
A'Sun is truly an extraordinary man. I wonder when we'll see a character like that again.
I appreciate that the drama doesn't try to demonize Changge's dad. He did something terrible by confusing his concubine and raping Changge's mother He was also a strict and ambitious man. But he was Changge's father and I like that Changge does not forget him even when she finds out the secret of her birth. As well as the fact her mother feels guilty for causing the death of her husband.
I have a few questions about the last few episodes, if a charitable soul understanding Chinese can answer me.Questions…
Episode 43-44: Why is Mimi stabbing A'Sun? What is the discussion between Sher and Mimi and what does Mimi say that "betrays Changge"? Episode 46: Why is A'Sun delivered to Khatun when Tang was the one who arrested him? What does Changge's mother say to the uncle when she sees blood on his armor?
A'Sun saved ChangGe from fire. ChangGe left with A'Sun to Grassland and live their quiet life there. She told…
Thank you for your answer! So in fact, they left together for the grassland but the ending shows them meeting again after some separation (war, travel ...), is that so?
The weibo TLB viewers were spitting blood n upset and scolding the director ... kekeke ... lots of them were screaming…
Personally, seeing the wedding of the main couple is not what I expect the most. Many stories end with leads as a couple but before they get married. The important thing is to know that they are together. However, I've seen people say it's an open ending for the couple and I don't understand. If they are a couple and together at the end, how is that an open ending?
My little heart is so not ready for tomorrow. I hate endings! I often don't finish a series because I don't like the feeling or because I'm afraid the end will disappoint me xD
I just realised that there are no catty/bit*hy females at all in this drama. And I'm so happy they maintained…
It's literally one of the things that makes this drama so great. I was sick of seeing sweet, cute SFL who was friend with the FL go completely crazy and evil for love. Or obsessive, possessive, manipulative's behaviour from second leads. The characters are all "human". Even the bad guys have nuance and we don't see them enough to be angry.
OBVIOUSLY< shouldn't watch this is you've not seen ep 42.Chang Ge's birth story, subbedYou're gonna need tissues,…
I have tears in my eyes at this scene. It must have been horrible for the mother to be raped and forced to marry her rapist. She then betrays him for the man she loves but this involves having her husband, the father of her child, killed and causing the ruin of their house. For Shimin it must have been hard to come back from the war and find the woman he loves married to his brother. And finally, I dare not imagine all of Changge's thoughts and sadness when discovering that she was the result of rape, that her parents hated each other, that she was not wanted by any of them (even if his mother loved her from birth) and that her mom lived in fear and humiliation.
When do you guys think Changge fell in love with Sun and or when did Sun fall in love with Changge?
I think Changge started to realize that she was attracted to A'Sun in episode 6, when she fell from the roof. She locks herself breathless, hesitant and blushing in her room right after that.
I think she started to want to have a special and unique relationship with him in episode 18, when she asks, sounding a little jealous, if he gave Mu Jin some sheep as well. From there, she refrained her feelings, slowing down A'Sun's ardor several times: when he takes her to see the fireflies and she tells him that there is no point in coming back, when he offers her a stone and she distances herself and so on. Unlike A'Sun, she had no goal, no home and was very young. So it was more difficult for her to understand her feelings and also to accept them.
In episode 31, we know that she loves him and that she is aware of it because she lets him be tactile with her without restraint. She just hasn't made up her mind to be with him yet.
But knowing when she fell in love, I think we can't. There isn't a specific time. She fell in love gradually, over their adventures, friendship and argues. She started out seeing him as a friend who she became to be attracted to. Later, she believed everything they had been through was a lie and she hated him. Then she found out all he had done for her and they became friends again. From there the affection and feelings grew. She was always careful with him and her attraction to him at first because she knew he had secrets. A'Sun falls in love with Changge once he knows who she is. The same goes for Changge. She can only start developping feelings for him once she knows who he really is and whether their friendship was a lie or not.
I'm gonna defend Viki for once on this. It's not Viki that is slow, that's the release schedule set by Tencent.…
I wonder if, once the drama is over, Viki will be able to do it own translation of the drama. Because the translation of Tencent does not satisfy me at all.
Does A'Sun really have character development, or was he already perfect at the beginning of the drama? I don't…
About Hao Du, I think he is like A'Sun. He already had values but, like A'Sun, he hid them deep inside him to please his adoptive father and blindly follows orders. It is through contact with Changge and Leyan, who will touch his values, that he begins to wake up and show who he is, behind the cold mask that life has imposed on him. The two male leads are very similar, as are the two girls. Two extremely brilliant young soldiers, brought up as good fighters by adoptive fathers who do not know how to show affection. Two sensitive young men who have buried their feelings deep inside and have always been cold and introverted until the two princesses come to break their masquarade and force them to face their true nature.
