Does A'Sun really have character development, or was he already perfect at the beginning of the drama? I don't…
I think A'Sun has a great character development as well. But just like Hao Du, he is a young adult, who already has combat experience. His development will not be based on his skills but on his attitude, his convictions, his thoughts. It's a little more subtle than for the two girls.
Over the course of the drama, the audience discovers more about him (his origin, his mother held hostage, his father who distrusts him and pushes him to compete with Sheer) and he himself will be able to evolve. At first, he appears as the cold and introverted general of the Ashile tribe. Then, in contact with Changge, someone intellectually equal to him, he open up, smile more, talk more, become more malicious. His own men are amazed to see him talk that much. I think it is already an evolution. He who was only a soldier will become more human having this emotional and intellectual contact with Changge. Subsequently, his affection for her will make him even more eager to spare the people of Tang (even if we know that he already did so before). By becoming friends with someone loyal to Tang, it will push him to protect an enemy, to realize that he has always followed orders without real beliefs unlike Changge. And his mother's death is the last straw that allows him to introspect his life and choices. How he gave in to the pressure and became a blindly loyal soldier out of "ease" when he should have fought for his beliefs and those he loved.
The evolution of A'Sun is in his convictions and his attitude, not in his skills. He will show the young man that he is behind the mask of a cold general that he always gave, he will dare to show his weaknesses, his vulnerability, his inexperience in love, he will rub shoulders with people from Tang in his search for Changge, be faced with the consequences of the wars he has waged (with Yuan and Xu Feng) and create a strong friendship with a great general of Tang who will help him forge values he already had.
Welcome to the club! The soundtrack of this drama is particularly successful, indeed. And the characters are all well written that we don't have visceral hatred like in other dramas where the supporting roles are evil or others.
I think its because of their trope. How Leyan is a innocent bunny and Hao du is a good-looking yet looks cold…
Personally, I like the 2 romances. They are different and well written. But I find it a shame that people try to say one romance is better than the other or criticize the main couple for the age gap while we have all our preferences and there's a lot a romance with age gap in dramaland (except it's always the man the oldest).
1) What is Changge's plan with Mobei and Monan?2) What exactly happens to the Eagle division?3) When do our heroes…
It makes a lot more sense that the whole division is joining Mobei than just Ashile Sun. Thanks for the explanation. We can therefore assume that at one point, discreetly, the civilians will join Mobei to find the soldiers.

If there are people who prefer the 2nd couple because the main couple bothers them because of the age gap, they're bloody hypocrites! The 2 couples are 7/8 years gap. The only difference is that in the main couple it is the girl who is the oldest.

This is what also made me confused. I thought they would come up with a plan to save the whole division. Not just make believe in the death of A'Sun (which is quickly discovered). In addition, it appears that the Eagle Division is setting a trap for the Bear Division to protect Mobei. I find it stupid and cruel to push the soldiers to do this if it is afterwards to make them return to other leaders of the Ashile tribe.

Thanks you for answering me ^_^
2. But if the Eagle's division is disbanded, what happens to the soldiers and civilians? Will they join Sher? I don't see how that protects the people from the Eagle Division and how the deal made with Mobei and Monan would be interesting. 3. I had that feeling too. Several looks from A'Sun and even Changge seemed to indicate that they suspected something but didn't want to dwell on it too much. Thanks for confirming. 4. Okay. Seeing Sun's sad face at one point, I wondered if he hadn't learned that his father was sick and understood that Khatun was the one who tried to get him killed. 7. Oh, so they got permission to occupy a Tang house? Ashile tribe walks a little too freely in Tang territory xD

Reassure me, you were looking to spoil yourself, right? You don't criticize me for asking questions when I made it clear that these were about the last episodes and put them under spoiler?
I just finished watching all of the released episodes (42) and have several questions, if a kind soul understanding…
1) What is Changge's plan with Mobei and Monan? 2) What exactly happens to the Eagle division? 3) When do our heroes find out Mimi is a spy? 4) When does Ashile realize that it was not his father who betrayed him but Khatun? 5) What does Changge say when she finds out the story of her birth and the real causes of her mother's death? 6) Does it mention what are Changge and Sun's future plans, now that there is no more Eagle division? 7) I thought Ashile Tribe lived in tents. Why then does Mu Jin infiltrate a palace? What is this place ?
What I love about this drama is that the story moves fast, issues, misunderstandings, intrigues, don't last too long (apart from Leyan's wandering but even then they managed to not spend 10 episodes on her kidnapping). I have to say that I also really appreciate the new characters introduced at each stage of the story. Li Jing is a really interesting character! I find it nice to see that Sun has still more to learn.
The general knows right away that Changge is the princess and she also knows his identity. So they knew each other,…
That's what I thought too. To recognize her immediately and to have affection & respect in his eyes while looking at her, it seems to indicate that he was related to her father and known her.

I understand you, I often like to read spoilers, it allows me to watch in peace.

Sorry for all these questions.
Ahhhh this two will killed me, they're so sweet!
In episode 38, what does Changge write to Sun and what does he respond?
