Personally, I think it would’ve been better not to upload it there, just to be safe. It feels a bit risky especially since it’s a Chinese platform, and content often ends up on Weibo right after, where things can really blow up. It’s not the ideal place, honestly.
But since Blue Canvas was uploaded there and didn’t cause any issues, I’m not too worried for now. Still, I’d definitely prefer it stayed off that site just to avoid unnecessary exposure. It’s not a huge concern yet, but better to be cautious.

It’s true the show isn’t airing in China but the actors are still Chinese. If this leak ends up on Weibo or other Chinese platforms, it could attract unwanted attention. That puts both the actors and their careers at serious risk back home. And if the gov starts paying too much attention, there's a real chance the show could be taken down altogether especially since content like this is often labeled as 'immoral.' 😭 I really hope it won't get that far though, everyone worked so hard for it, it would be a shame if it didn't get to fully air
