Whether Wei feels uncomfortable is open to interpretation, especially since he experiences a lot of gay panic and confusion about his bodily reactions to proximity. This kind of power imbalance is actually quite common in BL narratives more often than not, in fact. Personally, it doesn’t bother me because I tend to separate my enjoyment of fiction from my personal morals.
