For those that think the two demon friends that are with xy are too naive and stupid, I think that's bc they've never experienced life, they probably have been living in Demon Valley and never went to human world. They've only lived in their protective bubble. I do hope that the adventures they have with xy will help them grow. I've first hand can understand how a person that's been protected and babied their whole life can act like a child when the person is already an adult. They will rely on the capable person, and become super anxious when the individual they depend on is not there to help them or if unexpected things happen and they can't problem solve themselves. So from this perspective, don't be too harsh on these naive friends haha

When dual cultivation was mentioned (to uncuff the red strings) it reminded me of When Destiny brings the Demon, and my mind went a littly dirty. Oh man, this drama is so PG 13.

Right! It's the selfish human nature that led the siblings to this stage. There's evil and good demons, same as human. I'm not against killing demons in this drama, but they should be proven guilty first or know for sure they did evil things. That's why it's so hard to have demons and human live together in harmony.

I really like Bingzhu's background, and why he wanted to slay demons, instead of the typical lover, it was bc of sibling love. Both siblings were willing to sacrifice themselves for the better good of their siblings. His sister was willing to sell herself to be married to an old geezer, and then used her soul to accompany Bingzhu, while Bingzhu didn't hesitate and jumped down the cliff. Also, I like that he's very smart he asked the smither to see the money which helped him locate where the money came from.

I was like xy after hearing his story, I was dabbing my tears too.

In the ep, his sister sold herself to buy a sword for him. She was to be wed to some old geezer, how come the men carrying the wedding sedan through her off the cliff and then it was the tree demon sucking her life essence?

Unfortunately, that's how it is in cdramas. It not going to be just xy, but other dramas too.

Some people are saying it's the same trope, three lives, romance etc, but I'm sure the director is aware of this so there must be some plot twist and surprise down the road. We just need to be patience!

They will criticize her for not being professional if she uses a voice actor to dub, and when she uses her own voice they also criticize. There's no way to please everyone.
