Truly. This is what I imagined the female general would look like

I’m have 6 eps left before I complete the drama but I’m aware the express eps are already out. I’m seeing a sudden influx of essay posts about people’s opinions and feelings of the drama and it’s so heartwarming. Most are saying they were crying so much their eyes are swollen and unable to sleep thinking of the drama whole night. I’m a little bit afraid to watch knowing I’ll also cry buckets.

One person wrote referring to gx and fwz relationship “companionship is the longest confession of love”. Since I haven’t finish the drama I’m going to hold off my final review about their relationship and of fwz and her adopted parents relationship

His mental health improved which ties to physical health. After moving to Shenzhen, he’s eating healthier and more nutritious meals, he’s with family that cares about him. He used to live alone in that shabby sorry excuse of a house, but now he’s sleeping same house with granddaughter. The environment is improved too living in the big city. He also has purpose in life.

After watching the eps, their purpose was to hire a baby making machine in disguise as personal assistance

Now that I've watched ep 24 it's not quite fair to say fwz is heartless and only went back to Yu County bc of her relatives but don't go back to visit her adopted father. First, she went back bc her good for nothing nephew stole her necklace so she wants it back. Second, she's in her build up phase, time is money and she has a lot to deal with. It's pretty normal for adult children to relocate somewhere far for work and don't visit for years to their parents, so why are people demonizing fwz for not visiting often when millions do the same. My cousin is the same, I don't think he even back back to the city for almost a decade. Ofc, parents are growing old, so should visit and see them often, but life sometimes happen and get too caught up. Third, as audience we see things from god's view. but fwz doesn't see what we see so we should view it from her perspective. Also, no one is perfect, so fwz is no different. Seeing adopted dad having more white hair and looking more frail breaks my heart. I wish he retires and move to shenzhen and live with fwz instead. I'm going to cry buckets when he leaves.

Yes. She adopts which is perfectly fine. I wish they at least establish the relationship. He’s been with her loyal for over a decade 😭

This drama goes through CNY like I go through multiple dramas a month. But, everytime they have CNY it's so heartwarming. We are nearing the end and I'm getting a little sad.

According to others that had read the novel, gx and fwz did get married and have a son. I hope it's true, and I hope the drama follows the novel. Even if they don't have a son, at least let them get married. Please!

Knowledge can definitely be self taught by experience and hard work.

Yes, he mentioed very briefly when explaining to fwz as well. Goes to show, there's a large diveristy of Chinese in Shenzhen, it's interesting to hear all these diff dialects

I find it really sweet of her to look out for people. I for sure know she recommended a lot in lxrg. It's nice to see this bc it's definitely much harder to get jobs in the industry with the freeze they have

I tend to have to take a long break and lose traction with any dramas, even with SS' drama. So if I fall behind a couple eps I will fall behind the whole drama and it'll take me at least a couple weeks to make progress. This also goes with ss' drama, but not this one. The speed of this drama I feel like I'm watching those short dramas. it's like one issue starts and ends within an ep, 1.5 at most, and then not even a breather another thing happens and then gets resolved. I've never experienced this with any dramas I've ever watched. It's a new experience.
