usually 2ML and 2FL are there in the drama doing little and causing irritation. In this one 2FL is wonderfully written and has good impact on the characters and the story.
You really feel it when the inevitable happens. Now we know why he smiles so much.
Also in almost all the dramas it is shown women as clumsy, dirty and men are clean....well infact it's the other…
Oh dear, tell me about it.
the ML and 2ML look delicious. They are shown as though their farts smell of roses. The women, especially the FL are as you put it. Drunk as a sailor in a whole house, eat like pig, their place would be filthy, they would be shown as disheveled and dirty.
Reality is, leave a man alone in a house for a month and it would become a zoo.
Expecting realism from a drama, c´mon...Alcoholism in general is highly glamorized in dramas. Maybe there are…
take your point
but, these dramas are not showing drunk 'people'. These dramas only show drunk FL or women.
Like you said, it has potential to be dangerous, even life threatening, not just to self but for others as well. For women, it can get substantially worse.
To show only girls in these drunk situations is macabre. Just bit surprised that lot more people don't see it that way to call it out.
Or you end up in bed with an unbelievably handsome guy who turns out to be rich and powerful and needs you to…
Watching shit like that is not fun. Those drunk scenes do nothing for the story. They are fillers and nothing more. Me posting here will not change it, so don't worry. Since it seems popular the writers will keep writing this shit into dramas.
Or you end up in bed with an unbelievably handsome guy who turns out to be rich and powerful and needs you to…
unbelievably handsome, rich and powerful guys are not looking for stench filled drunken girls to have sex. It only exists in dramas. More often than not, these drunk girls would be raped by drug addicts with few STD's.

Not expecting realism in dramas or movies. Not even expecting social messaging in dramas or movies
but to twist a potentially catastrophic act into something funny to influence young girls is going too far. The dramas do not need to depict excessive drinking as dangerous. They just need to stop showing it in positive light.
I am not talking about responsible drinking here. not even talking about the FL getting pissed drunk at her own home with her boyfriend or husband, no issues at all. but these dramas put the FL in incredibly dangerous situations and project it as cute and fluffy, which I believe needs to be called out.
If the FL is getting groped by men and is shown as funny and cute, would it be ok? Or do we say, it's a drama, so, repeated molestation of the FL as funny is ok?
We got our token drunk off her bum FL in this drama as well.
Good to see Kdrama writers being consistent in spreading the message - "Young and attractive girls getting drunk and passing out in random places is absolutely safe. There is ZERO danger in being like this. In fact, it is the surest way to meet your prince charming who will be bowled over by your vomit and stench. it's true love you see."
I had the drunk woman trope explained to me once but still don't understand it. Apparently, if a woman can be…
In half of the dramas, these drunk women are the ones molesting the men, especially the ML.
The whole drunk woman trope is perverted & dangerous.
Instead of showing reality and dangerous of excess drinking, these dramas are pretty much encouraging this! Even the parents in these dramas are shown to be ok with this behavior of their daughters.
It is also weird how the ML is rarely shown this way.
Who finds drunk women cute and fluffy now a days? The stench itself would ward off everyone except the most desperate men.
In between some nice story-telling and great acting, you get some horrible cliched dumb fillers.
Another episode where the women are shown drunk off their rockers. Whenever I see this particular cliche, I feel like grabbing the writer/director by their hair and smack their bums.
Why illegal? In Japan you can hire someone to be a boyfriend/girlfriend, there's literally a whole agency for…
Unless it's a scifi, fantasy or action, the drama needs to be little logical. if the core premise of drama is something that has no possibility in real life, it becomes little difficult to enjoy it or understand it.
Why illegal? In Japan you can hire someone to be a boyfriend/girlfriend, there's literally a whole agency for…
Did not know that.
In most countries the ceremony is as good as getting a marriage certificate. In fact in a lot of western countries, you don't even need to be married. If you are living together, for all practical purposes, it's an identified partnership with clearly identified legal ramifications.
Korea is indeed weird that a ceremonial marriage is not a legally identifiable one!

There is nothing like a contract marriage in most countries. have no idea about asian countries though. In western countries, a contract marriage is nothing but a fake marriage. Whether they explicitly benefit or not is irrelevant. Those persons would pretty much end up in jail because implicitly in many countries marriage provides certain benefits.
why not search immigration fraud through marriage? That would pretty much tell you why the concept of contract marriage does not exist in west.
let me point out again that I have no idea how this works in Asia legally. May be there are countries that allow contract marriages.

There is a whole world of difference between fake girlfriend to being a fake wife. In many countries being married comes with a lot of perks, which in turn means a fake marriage can be considered as fraud.

Fox Volant and now this.
Both ML and FL are very impressive with their acting.

If that is the case, these dramas are just telling these drunks that this is ok with no obvious risks or health concerns.
While dramas tend to exaggerate, the premise is coming from the ground reality that is being played out.
