must say, FL is a doll, absolutely pretty & is pretty good doing comedy. Need to check her other dramas. ML on other hand is also pretty (not a complement) and looks a bit stiff. not sure if it's the character he is playing or it's his acting chops at this point.
Best thing about this drama is the FL's family. They were absolute hoot and carried the show.

This was no strong FL. People think being an obnoxious princes who does as she pleases repeatedly without thinking of consequences as strong. That is not strong, that's just being an arrogant princes drunk on power who knows she can get away with murder. The ML on the other hand starts off decent and after falling in love turns into complete cuckold. In the second half it was hard watching how simp the ML turns into.
usually you want the FL and ML make each other into better versions of themselves. This is one drama where they actually become worse versions, if that is even possible.
Still a pretty enjoyable drama as it contains absolutely hilarious scenes sprinkled in each and every episode. Worth watching just for the FL family.

The most disturbing thing in this drama is it being yet another Cdrama, where the ML is basically emasculated to the point where you begin to wonder if he is indeed a man. Thank god for the FL, otherwise I would have mistaken the ML to be a Eunuch.

Regarding ML bullying etc etc, we viewers know exactly what happened and how ML helped her just being with her when she was hurting from her first love. ML was in love with her and still stood with her through her pain. From ML POV, he had it worse than FL since the girl he loved was crushing on some one else and he had to be there to help her with it. can't imagine a worse scenario.
Considering the viewers know all these facts, do you think how the writers about the ending makes sense? ML lead did all her could to earn his love, when nothing worked, he left. Now the arc should have been how the FL goes about showing ML she loves him. That did not happen. FL in the end just gets the ML....by doing nothing and staying where she is.

It was pretty good until the last few episodes, just when FL starts getting a grip on her feeling for ML, the writers took the lazy root - which in turn did FL a disservice. The route should have been how FL "actively" goes on about confronting her feelings for ML and make decision, instead the forced separation leads to a FL doing nothing, being "passive" and just waiting(?) for ML - hence my point about lazy writing.
They separate for significant amount of time, yet, the ML returns to the same old feelings and the FL just passively be there. just plain cliched and lazy writing.
It did not convince me why FL deserved the ML at all. The only thing she had to do was 'chose' the ML and got him on a platter just for choosing, that's absolutely lazy writing, especially after what ML went through for years.

The FL was very good. This drama required lot of acting chops. Getting a prettier face (FL was very pretty anyway) might have backfired if the acting did not suit the role.

Are we supposed to find the FL sympathetic? She went from manipulative to outright disgusting. The 2FL is much better in every sense than the FL. Considering the crap FL pulled, the ML at this point should put her out of her misery and settle with 2FL.

Cold ML in Cdramas is the norm.
Male Leads in in most Cdramas are same - Cold, detached, never had a relationship before FL, does not look/talk/touch girls. Or As I call them Eunuch leads of Cdramas.
The Female leads fare much better, they have wide variety & in this drama we have a immature one and that was fine with me.
What I could not stand though was how bland the ML came across and how I felt as if I have seen the same Male Lead in 10 other dramas this year.

It just went down steeply around episode 20 when it turned into a teenage love Pentagon & looks like it does not recover from that.
The way the show writers went about the ending does not convince me FL deserves the ML.

The viewers know the misunderstandings the true intentions & actions of each character.

Early into the drama & I can see ML getting heart ache.
The ML was absolute simp in the first arc.
the last couple of episodes at times were a bit flat since they had to close the main plot.
The leads were fantastic and cute.
