The writer made a mess of FL character consistency.
She had many boyfriends who she was sharing her moms dishes. She also gets angry and screams on catching her boyfriend cheating....but later on we get a sentence saying she only took walks and had meals with all her boyfriends.
Such a shallow and stupid writing..
Does it mean she has zero feelings for her boyfriends? She felt zero attraction? She never even held their hands? Never spent alone time with them having sweet talks? Then Ep 1 does not make sense where she gets so angry at the cheating to scream and break up in such manner...

Between the ML and FL, the 7 year old is the FL. She caused the whole mess and somehow is showing attitude to the ML who is there in the police station as deal to help her team out.
Episode 2 shows the FL is still a bit insufferable & bit unprofessional.
it's ok though. I like this characterization of the FL. She is not perfect and has issues, which the writer and the drama seem to acknowledge. The actress seems to be pull of the character well, she has a nice dignity that she brings to the character.

In any other field it only stays as prejudice but in a criminal investigation it has serious consequences.
There are few groups in our society who should never have any prejudices. I would rank Police right at the very top in that group.
Does not matter whether the person rich or poor or any thing....a police must never be prejudiced. This is basically one of the courses that police get trained.
Even corporations have trainings on this sort thing, many have this as yearly training.
Modern police institutions would fire the FL on the spot for what she did & the writer pretty much acknowledges that fact. need to give the writer that. Whether the writer is intentionally writing the Fl as an insufferable prick remains to be seen.

the ML here is no Castle. And the FL in Castle is one of the best written Female cops, ever. She was extremely smart and competent, just what you want in a strong female characters.

You think he can't land a punch on a woman who was getting physical with him? Suing her is the right thing after what she did.
