This drama, it isn't bad. But I didn't like it either. Many would say that they cried, that it had a sad ending. I personally can't declare it as a drama with a sad ending because I never felt sad. Don't get me wrong, death is sad and unfortunate, but I never once felt my heart drop from any of it. I think it has to do with the fact that Shin Joonyoung was going to die, it was inevitable, it's a terminal illness. It was too predictable at many parts. The pacing of the plot felt like it was going nowhere at all, no resolve. It was like, here it is, just suck it up and deal with his death. I wish they hid his illness until towards the end so it was unexpected, so it means he hid his illness from the people he loves and to the viewers. I also could not pity Shin Joonyoung cause I did not grow attach to his kind of character. I am just "it sucks you have an ilness. I wish you the best" rather than "fUCK YOU DID NOT DESERVE IT". I wish the writers made him more likeable. But ehh. I think they should've done somehing between Noeul and Yoon Jeongeun, bringing a resolve to what happened many years ago, bringing the tears, the resentment and despair out of that part. It would've made a great addition. But nothing. Putting her in jail was a little vain. It was only Jitae who cared to put her there to serve time cause Jeongeun commited a crime to the woman he loves but yet he can't be with her, even if Joonyoung died. lmfao.
Interesting IU's character slipped into a world where she has an identity. Compared to W, Oh Yeonjoo was nothing and she had nothing to protect her. Haesoo is highly born so she would have protection, a place to stay and people she trusts.
IU's character has more realistic reactions for someone who is thrown in the past and finds herself with a completely…
I agree. She would have fit in easier if her past life self had managed to watch a few historical dramas but it seems she would be too unfortunate to even afford television.
The first chest touching scene was fine, because she was caught up in the act of touching him and she was trying to clean up the blood. But all the scenes after that, it started getting annoying. Oh my god. I have a headache now.
Yoon Jeongeun is the most despicable human being of all of this drama. I hate her a whole lot. All she cares about is her life, her love life, her happiness and her success. What has she ever done to give to someone else or to help someone without having it benefit her? I know she got mad at Joonyoung for keeping her waiting, any impatient person would. But did she even dare to ask if he's okay, if something troubled him while he was "out"? I would be, if someone was to meet me in 30 minutes and did not show up. What a bitch she is. I am NOT surprised, considering her personality and that she is a rich person from a rich family. Every person who has money to their name always has problems. That's why no drama cannot exist without rich people. And dramas are depictions of reality. There are real Yoon Jeongeuns out there.
Maan. Rich people think they're so above everyone, paying money to get out of everything, hire people to kill off people and still sleep and smile the next day. And what's disgusting that it's just a depiction of reality. Gosh.
I couldn't help but cry at the scene involving Kangsoo interacting with Yoondo and Kyungjoon. It made me emotional, vigorously hoping each time that the surrounding the doctors would notice Kangsoo's illness so he doesn't have to suffer alone. I would often say "my poor baby" whenever he tries to hide it and that he's stupidly suffering the pain all on his own with his own. I know some people may find it stupid that people like Kangsoo want to hide such a thing, but people like him and also me, hate being a burden for others, but also still hoping for help from someone else because it's hard to ask for it. I related a little, or more or less, a lot. I guess that's why often felt emotional in the scenes of Kangsoo experiencing his illness up into that scene of episode 17.
What I don't get she has a big backbone standing up to guys but when it comes to her family she's like a deer…
I think cause you're talking about the difference of men and women she faces? Men seem like nothing to her, as to women, they appear to more vicious and toxic to her.
The first two episodes were interesting but afterwards it became cheesy and boring... I don't think there is any…
I think it's fine. The best for Hyejeong's love life is Jihong because he's going to teach her how to love. She said women and men show their love by fighting, but that's not really a healthy way to love... He's patient and respectable. (Mayne Yoondo could teach her too but I can't seem to picture him but I still like their rivalry and think they have some sort of chemistry.) In episode 12, she got mad at Jihong for letting her leave because he wanted to respect her decision instead of being a little aggressive with his desires. But it's still kind of stupid when women state the opposite of what they want. Men aren't mind readers. LMFAO.
Holy hell, episode ten has become my favorite.
I love how Lee Youngoh is doing his best to treat Yoseob and not want him to become like him. I also love how the mother Sookyung is being the better person to admit her fault, even if she feels like she doesn't want to submit to the fact she abused her own son but she technically did. Some people can't just apologize or admit to their flaws, in the end become foolish. I'm happy to see her want to improve herself for the better.
The opening makes me laugh because I am sure it is in English but I have a chronic misheard language illness that I can't even understand. I just sing out passionately "ONE PUUUUNCH. DING DONG THE PLAY BUS. SO TICKLISH."
There's a part of me wanting Yoondo and Hyejeong to get to gether. I don't know, it's just so cute for a cold man like him to only be fluffy and cute to a girl he's interested in.
But gosh, man, that last scene of episode five. It either hints she got stabbed or the guy wielding the knife. Seems like the guy got hurt instead, I have a feeling Hyejeong is spiraled back into tough times because she practically hurt someone even if that's not her intention. Her words kind of sounded like Jihong will be disappointed in what she did. Hopefully not. :(
Wednesday/Thursday - Uncontrollably Fond, Wanted (+ W)
Friday/Saturday - 38 Task Force
Busy all week. xD
