I agree with you. I watched all 46 episodes and I also think this drama is overrated. My initial instinct was…
I wished he remained single throughout the show and be a character that could be shipped with anyone without feeling bad lmao bc tbh, the romance between him and the FL is just meh
But I didn't find him flirtatious. (Except that one sus "fight" scene with DuoDuo...) I think he's friendly personality is very attractive and those girls couldn't help but take at least some interest. He treated girls the same as guys.
Is this an actual love triangle where the female lead likes both male leads romantically and is basically trying…
It's the second. People who think its the first are grasping at straws. Not once did they hint at her seeing him romantically. Don't worry and give the drama a go. People in the comments are way too split to decide by them alone.
Wan'Er shouldn't be considered a main lead in this. At least for the first season imo. If she's a main lead, Ruoruo and Wanjin could be considered main leads as well lol.
He needs better offers for lead roles. Only redeeming one was Sassy Go Go. I saw him in Queen Of Mystery and was genuinely shocked to see him take on such a small role.
I'd say this is the first fantasy CL drama that I've watched where I did not want to skip scenes and am actually interested in the full story step-by-step. So many likeable characters (along with ones that gave me high blood pressure), lovely main couple and interesting lore. Best part is it made me feel completely satisfied with the ending (which many dramas fail at).

A Piece of Your Mind was too stale for my taste. Slept one time while watching it but my mom loved it.
Fxck you!!
