If you hesitate whether or not you should watch this drama, then don't: just watch it. I went for an episode, thinking it was gonna be 'deja vu' and boring, well I stand happily corrected!
The show takes all the clichés we know and love, then use them in a very fresh way. It's not all subversion, more like injecting new with the old. It's like the old romantic clichés get to enter the 21st century guys!

episode 10: Sichon, oh Sichon! Please, don't let anger and low self esteem destroy what you have. Why not just talk to her, accuse her and let her explain herself. Have you not heard that every story has at least two sides?
Oh and the love scene(s) were fantabulastic! Especially for a thai drama, especially for channel 7! I couldn't believe my eyes. Good for you guys ^^

You're right to be prudent with thai shows. Sometimes they take a looong time to be fully translated. That being said, I'd advise not to binge watch thai drama because they are really repetitive. I'm watching this drama as it goes on, and yet, I'm bored already with the circular plot.

True. I think most thai dramas are better appreciated a little at a time. Whereas kdramas tend to be more suited for binge watching (less repetitions, more cliffhangers). That said, I'm probably wrong to make broad generalizations, I only watched romance thai dramas after all...

Very true. I tend to forget that pacing is so very important to the enjoyment of a show. I probably should try and stop binge watching shows. Some things should be enjoyed at small doses haha

This show... the ML is wishy washy, the FL is a naive cry-baby, the supporting cast is overacting. You might like it because of the eye candy (there's not a single bad looking person in this!), the sophisticated plot (for a thai drama) and real kisses. It was way too long for me and lost almost all of its appeal for that reason. I rate it a 6.5/10.

Hello! I'm not too fond of running jokes, so I wasn't gonna say anything (since this gives me a big feeling of deja vu hehe). BUT you did say to let you know what I thought about the drama. Well, I really hated it haha. It was too long, the over acting got on my nerve, and I guessed the big secret halfway through the drama, so it was just 12 episodes of waiting for the overacting cast to catch on. We usually tend to share same taste, so I really expected that I'd appreciate this more than I did, then again, you did warn me about all the frustrating nonsense.
As for the couple you're talking about, to be honest, I had a bad feeling about both side couples, but then when it hit, it was really sad. I hate shows that hurt good people and give redemption to irredeemable people (sigh)

Yep! Took me a year. I watched up to ten episodes in a row, then kidnappings and bombings started happening way too often for my poor heart and I had to put it on hold haha. Picked it back up yesterday hehe

The two savings graces for this sow are: (1) the chemistry+ real kisses; (2) the female characters are really well written for a thai show.
Other than that, the show could serve as basis for the drinking game 'drink if there's an explosion or a kidnapping, or both". Sure way to get drunk pretty quickly.
Oh also his mom is a nightmare, I would not marry a man I love if he has a mom like that.

I don't know how much time would've gone between the events but I could believe that Mek/Mai has super healing powers. All I wanna know is who is her surgeon, and what kind of sorcery he uses... Yeah they totally subverted the trope here, I thought we were gonna have the classic two men vying for the FL's attentions, instead we have this haha.
