I am kinda baffled on how SK's courthouses work.Is this show based on reality?
Yes, it's quite a common model actually (I'm guessing you mean the no jury, panel of judges only style of trial). We have it here in Portugal and I think many countries in Europe have as well. Rules of evidence may differ, but I'm guessing the actual process and law application isn't exactly as presented here in the drama, it's adapted for bigger impact probably.
As for the rest, yes, it's definitely not unheard of. Here a panel of judges judge most cases, I think jury trials were never a thing or if they are, they are extremely rare. Also true that public prosecuters are in charge of the investigation, although here they seem to coordinate a bit more with the police, it's absolutely the prosecution that levels the charges and investigates. The only thing it seems to differ is that here all defendants have the right to an attorney and the State provides one, if needed.
Judges are usually law school graduates who apply for specific exams in order to become judges and are then sent to several minor courts as public servants at first. So basically the same as SK. Judges aren't elected by the general public here.
Ok, but am I supposed to think that Ashin experimented on her family/friends until she was able to find out how…
She knew all about the effects from the story in the stone that she found in a cave in the mountains. So supposedly she chained the corpses before she revived them with the flower
On episode 9 and considering dropping. For a jaded lawyer the ML can be pretty clueless and doesnt really manage to get the measure of his rivals. The FLs are boring. The pace is uneven. I'll maybe put it on hold and decide later. I'm a bit disappointed, it sounded pretty good âšī¸
Great series, female John Wick, plot is predictable all, around but still made me cry for 1 episode and a half, which is a testament to the actor's skills, Han So Hee, first of all. She delivered flawlessly!
But the rest of the cast, especially Park Hee Soon and Anh Bo Hyun - can we just talk how Pil Do is seriously underrated overall as a character? Sure he may be more of a plot device but the way Bo Huyn made it count and made the audience feel with the little that he was given to work with is pretty amazing imho - kept up with her. I didnt think I'd cry so much in an action drama, wow đŗ
The FL is like a child... It's so annoying.... I just can't... I made it to episode 7, If i make it to the end…
I found the entire thing a bit stalkerish. Doing all that because of a crush? I tried until episode 4 but no. I never liked slice of life/super shoujo animes and j-dramas it's the same apparently đ
Ok but where is the police in this drama and why does the prosecuter do all the investigation work? And the lawyer's claims are outlandish... The drama is ok but I feel like the law/mystery part is almost pure fantasy...
I am not into gore/zombies eating too much, is this safe? :/ It seems interesting, but if it's like The Walking Dead I don't think I can do it :( Thanks!

Hope this helps.
