I'm on episode 3 and I must say I didn't expect such a turn of events. I'm a fan of age gap drama and that's why I found this title but it's much more than cliche romance. Both leads are amazing in their roles. It's also a well-produced drama with great music, pacing, and dialogues. So far it's a hidden gem for me.

What a disappointment that was. No chemistry, no development of leads relationship, sappy monologues, constant talking about "love" out of nowhere, just blank stares into the distance. The only thing that managed to keep me somehow interested were secondary couples. They should be a focus of the drama and not wooden mains.

I really liked the premise of this drama. There are very few k-drama revolving around the military. Unfortunately, there were just too many convenient coincidences and family connections used as a plot device. Too bad, because the cast was great and this drama had a different, fresh vibe to it.

One of the best Kim Ki-Duk's movies even if quite different than most of his works. I liked it even if it's more general public-friendly with much less thought-provoking scenes and metaphors.

Good daily makjang drama. You can find here every possible cliche - orphans, cancer, leukemia, amnesia, dementia, attempting murderer, lost and fund family members etc. I loved Myung Sun's storyline and also Yu-ri was the cutest kid I've seen in a k-drama :D All in all, this drama is nothing special but I think it's worth giving it a chance if someone doesn't mind cliche moments.

I'm only watching for secondary couples. It's baffling that all of them are much more interesting than the lead couple...All Jae Guk and Young Eun are talking about is "I love you so much" and I don't even know when it happened. I don't buy their great love and sappy monologues do not help either.

The most overrated of them all: Lee Jong Suk; 2nd place Park Bo Gum; 3rd place Jang Ki Yong. I cringe every time I watch something with them....I don't understand how they're still "a thing" in k-drama world.

Really good drama. I loved OST and cinematography. The shots from Moon's surface were really beautiful. The plot was quite predictable and nothing special if someone is familiar with sci-fi thrillers in space but still, I liked it. 8,5/10

At first, I really liked the revenge story but it was dragging for far too many episodes. I've hopped for more development in romance and main characters. Seung Yoo and Yoon Soo should be working together from the start to reveal corruption. The actors had good chemistry but they had too little screen time alone to utilize it. All in all, it's not a bad drama - just average in both the revenge and romance category. Thank goodness they gave us the last couple of minutes. I was waiting for it for the whole drama.

If they hadn't had the last 2 min scene. I would have killed someone. Those 2 minutes saves the series for me...
Same here :D

It would be good movie if not that last 5 minutes... They should just leave it with an open ending.

I really wanted to stay interested in this drama but I think I had enough. Where is a romance? The leads have little to no interactions without prying eyes and there is no progress in their relationship. It's a school-related revenge drama with ML having crush on his teacher. That's it.

Finally I gave up. I can’t wait for the subtitles, I just watched it raw.
Same :D It's been a while for me to do this with any drama. I'm really looking forward to see more of our main couple :)

I guess he's too good of an actor to waste his talent on kdrama :D:D:D
I agree with your statement that people from non-English speaking countries are more likely to be interested in korean/asian cinematography and tv series. I'm also from a non-English speaking country and even if Korean culture is different from my own, I can find some similarities. In general, I think k-dramas are getting popular among youth because of k-entertainment (like k-pop; cosmetics etc.) when k-movies are more acceptable by a variety of different age groups.

I don't know. I've started watching k-movies before k-drama...so.... I guess not for everyone was the same order. Movies and tv drama are two different things and have different fan base.

In general, I love noona-romances but I'm not sure about this one. I knew from the start that it's going to be difficult for me to enjoy this drama because of both leads (they're not the best actors out there to put it simply) but I'm disappointed because of the plot. I'm not even talking about constant coincidences or cringy french. The biggest problem for me is that this drama doesn't know what it wants to be. At first, I was glad to see k-drama where one night stand is treated normally and not something taboo. But then the director and screenwriter want the audience to believe that they're in fact in love? When and where does it happen? Lust - sure, I can understand that but love? No way. Also, I laughed out loud when she said that she was with his brother for two months (I repeat - TWO MONTHS). Anyway, I will probably continue to watch but for now, I'm not impressed.
