Ikr? I mean you can't like all of 'em. There should be a standard at least. It doesn't mean that because it made you laugh or cry so hard, you'll give it a 10 automatically. It's absurd. -.-
I only re-watch dramas if I feel like re-rating it or if it's extremely a fave one. Other than that, I don't do it since it's time wasted esp that there is so many dramas out there I wanna watch.

Haha I do that too. I pause a drama and repeat what they say cause it's just so cute. Loving the intonation. XD
See? Dramas are really useful. You even sound now like a natural Japanese! ;)

Ditto. When I find a drama with a perfect story, plot, and characters, I gave it an 8. Those three factors alone imo can make a drama worthy to watch and that's all I need; the rest (like cinematography, script, music) are just bonuses, which in consequence, I'll gave a 9. 10s are saved for dramas I extremely liked and I found excellent that I feel like putting it to my 'fave dramas of all time'. XD
I only have 3 dramas rated 10 actually. Even then, I feel like re-rating one and put it into a 9. We'll see. I need to watch it again first before re-rating it.
Indeed, endings can make or break a drama. I personally lessen a point to my overall rating if the ending sucks.

How do you rate dramas then? I'm very curious to how other people rate dramas. Since I can be quite fastidious about it. ;D

I love Japanese language too! My sis told me she'd sent me to mental asylum if I say a word more about Japan and how I want to go live in there someday haha. She thinks I'm obsessed, I say she's absurd. :P
I like it enough. I don't prejudice against genres (well except for horror). But the ones I gave 10 to are dramas that makes me question things and are thought-provoking. :)

I prefer them all haha. Although you might notice that I watch more Kdramas, but not necessarily because I like it the most. You?

Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. But seriously, I'm only exaggerating when I say I have this disorder haha. I just have this compulsion to make lists. I'm a perfectionist you see. :)

I love it when they say 'Nandeyo?~'. Kawaii~ ^^
Nope. I'm afraid I'm not yet introduced to anything close to Jmusic. >.<

You're right now that you mention it. She pretends to be a guy so she can play host, right? As a payment for her breaking a ridiculously expensive...jar is it? Skip Beat, on the other hand, is about modeling right?
I'm attracted more to dark and heavy stories like Fruits Basket. :)

Nope. In all honesty, I'm not even interested. I tried reading the manga before - curious what was all the rage about - but dropped it after 2 chapters or so. I don't find it interesting even though it's quite similar to HanaKimi (which I really love). :|

Too bad. But then again there's not many live adaptations out there that live out to my expectations. :P

It's been incorrectly romanized as 'Park' since forever so for convenience's sake they kept it that way. But you're right if we use the current romanization rule, it would be spelled as 'Bak'.
I agree, Japanese is the most melodious language in the world. I want to learn it so bad!!~

Actually, my mother tongue resembles English a lot. Our grammar is almost parallel to yours. I can translate this sentence per se word per word and it would make a perfect sense in my language. And here, kids are introduced to English as soon as they're able to talk. So basically, we only need to work on our vocabulary. Though I need to go back to my basic grammar cause 'in' and 'on' kept confusing me. >.<
But even though I live say there in the States there is no guarantee I'd master your language. I mean I lived here in Philippines all 23 yrs of my life but still have a hard time using the right verb tense. -.-
Well you had no choice but to learn it faster haha. I want to go to Japan so bad!!!

Starring Oguri Shun? LOL I love him but a live adaptation of Conan? :| Count me out. It's almost hardly imaginable.

Yeah. It's amazing how the mangaka doesn't run out of crime techniques considering that it is in its 600+ chapters now.

I know what you mean. I'm like that too but with different reasons. I don't drop dramas because it makes my list looks... wrong. And incomplete. And unclean.
That's OCD for you. >.<

Mmm... the thing with anime is they put fillers that were originally not in the manga. And the art is different - I always want to see for myself how the drawing looks like. Besides, reading is my first love so I don't have problem with it. But don't get me wrong I do watch anime (Bleach, Detective Conan, Naruto) just not religiously compared to my dramas. ;)

It did take me at least 6 yrs to get to this level of fluency in English (at the most, I can say I'm in Intermediate level). What more of Korean/Japanese/Chinese language with their thousands of complex characters? As if it's not confusing enough, there's also formality to take into consideration. -.- I may need at least a decade to be a decent speaker of one of those languages haha. But I still want to try learning. ;D
Now where did I put my book of Korean language for Beginners again? *runs off to hunt for it* :P
