What I find ingenious in The Legend is the story. It has a little resemblance in the story of Jesus and combined it with the Chinese celestial guardians - the Shishin. Two very different legends combined in one drama and mixed with some history... you don't see this everyday. I can't really say anything more without spoiling too much. The least I can say is some of the characters have supernatural powers - now if that doesn't convince you I don't know what will. ;) I hope you try watching at least 2 eps before deciding if you want to continue or not.

We're opposite. I don't see a reason to watch the anime when I had read already the manga. There's no harm in trying you might like it. And the art is spectacular. <3

It is! I totally love it. It's not a simple historical drama mind you. It's supernatural too. And there's eyecandy everywhere! <3 For all it's worth, I think The Legend is underrated.

Well, I speak Tagalog - my mother tongue. I learned Spanish when I was in high school and tried Korean in college but had to quit halfway. I don't remember Spanish anymore since I don't use it; so my skill kinda rust with age. :P I can still remember my Korean though. But I had a problem with the grammar and particles >.< Are you advanced in Korean?

Oh I thought you both handle Tdramas and Cdramas?
We had it easier. Drama Wiki and AsianWiki has it all except for bio. I tried to google translate their profile Japanese Wikipedia but still I can't make what they're trying to say, haha. I think they translate word per word. I mean even their Kanji name are translated into the likes of 'Caramel Clutch' - what the? XD
Totally. Japanese and Korean is still influenced by Chinese language right? They still use Kanji and Hanja. It'll be a lot easier if you start with Chinese I think. Korean is easy except for the grammar and their gazillion particles. I can read/write and understand basic Korean but had a hard time constructing a sentence aside from 'A is B'.

Is it some kind of proof that we're on our way to insane asylum? XD We do have some weird 'memories'.
Plus we have unexplained drama addiction and we talk in front of our laptops. :P

Anyway, so almost all my classmates are playing then suddenly ALL of our pens float in the air. It lasts for only a second or two. Of course, all of us freaked out so we tried to go out of the classroom but we can't. Somehow the door won't budge in. I can't remember what happened after that. Maybe my mind's playing on me or I was too delusional cause I was sick. I don't know. But that's what I 'remember'. Freaky right?

"something is watching me sometimes" <-- that's creepy! o.O
Well I do but I'm not sure if it was a dream, an imagination, or a memory, haha. It happens at least a decade ago. It was Fri the 13th and I was super sick that day but I still insisted to go to school. It was lunchtime I think (I'm not sure but the thing is there's no teacher around) and my classmates are playing around and daring each other to do 'spirit of the pen' since yknow it's Fri the 13th and all. Spirit of the Pen is basically connecting two pens - ballpoint against the butt of the pen. You pray and ask the spirits around to talk to you. You ask them something and the supposedly spirit will answer through the pen. If the point of the connection between the two pens unintentionally (meaning you didn't move the pen) moves upward, it means yes; downward means no.

Hahaha now that you said it I realize you're right! The extra 17 eps are prolly fillers and plots. But we'll see. I'm still in Ep3 so it's early to say.
I'll catch up and watch it in 2 days or so. Right now, I'm too busy with the database. -.-

True and what's more freaky is that my neighbour's dogs (there are at least 12 in total) howl every 3am or around that time. And my grandma once said that if a dog howls it means there are spirits nearby. ><
