Well our local channels produce remakes of popular Asian dramas such as Stairway to Heaven, My Girl, Lovers in Paris, and so on. I don't like any of em - the remakes I mean! I dont know why they keep doing them. It's quite a pain to watch. :S

Unfortunately, our gov't is not that rich to give out student loans. So we have to work our ass off if we want to finish college. Or maybe go to a state college but you have to have the smarts to go to one. I get in in one of the most prestigious schools here back in college. All my needs and wants are conveniently laid out in front of me by my parents. I dont need to worry over anything except my studies. But I can't (and don't want to) depend on my dad forever. So the only choice left of me is go to a state college but the entrance exam for these schools are insanely hard. >.<

Oh you won't believe it! They're usually shown before lunchtime, another one in the afternoon, and again in primetime. But it recently evolved and has taken over midnight shows too. And the dramas are really popular too: Iris, 1 Litre of Tears, Autumn's Concerto. It's good and all until they try to do remakes. And how it became popular is a complete mystery to me. What were they thinking is all I can say. *smh*
