Finally a taste of the truth.

This episode cleared Jae Wan's relationship with the dead chairman. We have finally found out that he and Mo Ne are not siblings, and that the DNA test the VP gave to him before flying to Korea was probably fake. I feel like a burden on my heart has been lifted. I am grateful the fauxcest part should be over with the confirmations at the end of this episode... I guess???

Now I am curious as to how they will handle CJW and AMN's relationship. Jae Wan is in more danger. Not only because of the VP, but because he also did some illegal things that may led him to jail (no idea what other than specifically give Chairman Ah clams when he was allergic).

For how I see things are going, to protect the hotel and AMN, Jae Wan will leave at some point, that's why he is training Mo Ne right now. He wants her to succeed. Even though he was obsessed with the hotel in the past, I can see his major focus at the moment is the chairwoman's safety more than the hotel itself. I don't know, but now that CJW found he is not the chairman's son, he may feel like his whole revenge plot is for nothing. He basically did all he did before AMN came into the picture so that the chairman would die. He must feel betrayed and sort of guilty even though he did not kill him. And didn't he become general manager to show his supposed father how good he was at doing the same job he did? It's possible CJW's true path is not the one of the hotelier despite he is very good at this job. He may be living someone else's dream (for eg, the VP's dream). We'll see.

AMN is a doll into the other shareholders' hands, but CJW is a puppet too. I am more than convinced that the dirty VP took CJW under his wing purely to destroy chairman Ah for a matter of love and power. He chose CJW because he had no ties since he was an orphan, and made of himself what he wanted... he gave CJW everything but asked for his emotions in return. And he did so because he believed that a man with no feelings would be able to pull off what he couldn't do...

Ahhhh, I have a lot of thoughts that would be hard to elaborate at the moment. The plot is going very fast for a long drama like this. I wonder what plans do they have for everything. Now that the paternity issue seems to be resolved, however, I am super anxious as to whether or not they will drag AMN and CJW's love story. These last two episodes had a LOT of angst between them and I am more than happy to see them grow closer. I am in love with this OTP... I think every week the actors show how much chemistry they have together and make this plot believable even if it's a little twisted and weird in some parts.

Finally!!!

This episode was good. Not only for the Jae Wan/Mo Ne scenes (they're too cute, awww), but also because it was pretty paced and some things were revealed.

I warn you, this review contains SPOILERS.

We can finally be sure CJW and AMN are not related, since he did a DNA test. And at this point I thought it would take long to find out who Jae Wan's father is, but I was wrong. On this episode he finds a very upsetting truth about his paternity, which I predicted in my earlier reviews. :P I feel bad for Jae Wan. He's been lied to his whole life, and threw away like trash until he was useful again. Poor man. I am happy he has found Mo Ne that cares so much for him and has enough love and patience to wait for him because she is in love with him and is worried about him if he doesn't show up when she expects him to.

We also found out stuff about the dead chairman. All this time... he knew. And he tried to guard Mo Ne from this, but I wonder if his message will ever reach her. I trust the general manager, but at the same time I believe he wants to protect Mo Ne from the painful truth. He also wants to protect himself, perhaps? He tells her to trust him against all odds, and this could be a situation where if she loves him, she should do this. Because Mo Ne had so much respect for her father and his ideas, finding the recording could make her doubt Jae Wan's credibility towards her. Now... I think Jae Wan wants to purely protect Ah Mo Ne. She is his first priority. But I wonder if misunderstandings between them will occur in the future. Things are going too smooth for them, I am scared something critic may happen and someone gets hurt or they have to separate. The preview makes me a little anxious about that.

Speaking of Jae Wan and Mo Ne, who I ship like there's no tomorrow (lol), they are so squee worthy. With MN, JW is showing is caring and kind side. It was so sweet when he wanted to send her a message with "I miss you" as the text. And his gift for her birthday <333 (I guess that is the same swing we saw in the finale of Cunning Single Lady XD). And when she cups his face in her hands and tells him he can look at her as much as he wants??? AWWW, so adorable. Last but not last... they FINALLY kissed, omg! When they met, he hugs her tightly as if she can comfort him just with skinship. He seemed like he wanted to reverse all of the anger he felt in that kiss and not in reckless actions (I bet JW has a past where he had a temper and got into fights). It was so sweet. The only thing that makes me sad is that Mo Ne doesn't know anything about the paternity stuff going on in Jae Wan's life, and all his grief and guilt. It's a pity, because she would comfort him in any way she could... and comfort scenes are some of the moments I like the most between my OTP. I would LOVE to see a scene where Mo Ne finds the truth and she holds Jae Wan as he silently cries, and she wipes his tears. That would be awesome and would make me like this pairing more.

This being said, can't wait for episode 12!

Very good!

I liked the first episode very much!! I was hooked after the first five minutes and laughed a lot at the rookie squad. They are going to make me smile a lot. Now I get the posters showing CSW and LSJ looking like they hate each other, though I don't believe the Detective killed the mother, he must have been framed... it would also be too obvious for the audience at this point, and it's too early. lol. Anyway, I'm glad for CSW's return. His characters always make me smile and wow, the more he gets old, the more he gets young. All the cast is great and pretty good looking. This is gonna be interesting and funny at the same time. Another thing I liked was "Welcome to the black parade" by My Chemical Romance as the song at the end of the episode. It is always weird to me when they put international songs on dramas. You just don't expect it.

Yay the first arc is finished :D

After I've watched the ep I realized that BMN loved ASW more but had a child (CJW) with LJK because this one was also obsessed with her. But the VP messed up everything by starting his illegal measures against the hotel and to get revenge because BMN didn't love him back, and ASW believed his so called friend instead of the woman he supposedly loved. He turned her to the police without blinking his eyes. That what his own vendetta against her. I think after this BMN planned her own revenge against the two men, while these ones worked together for Ciel. We know the VP is a double faced man, he surely played the joker with his "friend" ASW too. But still, there are some pieces of the puzzle missing. For example, can you imagine if BMN had already escaped to New York with her baby and LJK followed her because he was desperate? When BMN realized the VP was there, she planned a fake accident to pretend she died to disappear forever with her son, but part of her plan blew up. BMN could not escape with his son anymore and so her baby was given up for adoption by LJK after the news of her death, and that's why CJW was in NYC. The VP never stopped tracking down little JW's moves and he was probably the one who asked the kid to be sent in a low grade orphanage where he would soon end up on the streets as a beggar and live a bad life until he would be enough old to be taken under his wing and to be trained as a weapon against ASW. The VP probably didn't track BMN down because she thought she was dead, and so did ASW. During this ep, the VP receives a letter from a Baek Mi Yeon and gets the chills because he is sure she died. And when he saw the young woman at the house where Baek stayed, she had the same name but ofc no relation. Could this be Baek paid that woman to pretend she lived there and was called BMY? It's rather possible she would troll the VP like this. lol.

Finally our OTP reconciled. Mo Ne got through her fear and freed the birds. The fact that she did so is a subtle methapor of the fact that she wants Jae Wan to be freed from the cage he's been living into for a lot of years. He is able to fly but he still doesn't know how to use his wings. Now that the VP is out of the picture (hoping it will be harder to get revenge now) he could try with MN's help. But his face after the VP was arrested told me that he would try not to go to MN too much. I don't know, I've got this vibe that he will distance himself because of the bitter truth that the VP is his father and this may hurt MN's feelings? Mmmh. I doubt that if she ever knows that, she will change her mind on JW. I'm glad that MN showed her support by preparing him a meal. He was moved. I hope not because the food was salty, lol. This MN act looked so wife cheering her husband and giving him space after a long day at work. I hope we will get more moments like this.

Don't trust anyone, basically

Spoilery and very long opinions about this episode. It was quite good and angsty and there was little development of the storylines. Argh, can't wait till we find some secrets. Everyone isn't trustworthy on this drama. Maybe just Mo Ne and Woo Hyun. lol.

Jae Wan/Mo Ne: it's tangible how much she wants to hate him because of what she discovered, but her actions betray her. She loves him too much to hate him, and even if she hates him, there is still enough love in her disdan towards him. So it's a lose/lose war. And our JW understood that the situation is like this. He's provoked her less during this episode, perhaps because he isn't able to keep his act up anymore or he thinks he deserves her harsh words after what he's done to her father. I am happy MN is taking a stand and they looked more like chairwoman and employee. At the same time since everyone supposed that CJW and AMN dated and broke up, it's like her harshness is taken as anger towards an ex lover and not as a director's firmness against an employee she doesn't agree with. Ugh, this is a tiny problem. If nobody had known/suspected about JW and MN being in love, right now she would be taken more seriously by the staff. At least Woo Hyun tried to justify this as MN and JW trying to separate love from work. Anyway, glad that MN still protects her man after everything he's tried to put her through. Like I said, she's divided between her head that says "hate that disgusting man" and her heart that says "protect that man you love". And in the end her heart won and she's got the confirmation JW is trying to help from behind the scenes (literally this ep lmao). I also loved the scene after MN broke Bella. She cried saying that she wants to fix him but she doesn't know how to because he might die and she doesn't want him to die. That scene showed how she is aware of the situation going on. JW wants to be with her but he cannot. She realized she broke his heart and the only thing she wants to do it repair it but he won't let her. Gee, this girl has a never ending war in herself.

As for the VP, it's evident how much he'd want to kill JW but at the same time he needs him. Not only because of his abilities but also because Cha Jae Wan is his scapegoat. When something goes wrong because of him, it's always JW the one to be punished. The VP has never ever punished himself for his wrongdoings, he simply projected his guilt over our poor gm so he could let it go. It's a psychological mechanism that the VP uses because CJW looks so good and perfect at his job besides him, that he needs to throw his dirt on him so his social order can be restored. During this episode it was evident how much the VP is scared to death that CJW may betray him. When JW was putting the sword into the box he was very careful and on his toes and didn't notice JW's diverted expression and desire to dig that weapon into his heart. JW's profound desire translated into an illusion show, the only way for him to perform that deadly action to the VP. As much as JW believes he is bad, he wouldn't do that for real the same way Hamlet didn't kill Claudius because he is a human filled with doubts and let's face it. At the end of the day uri gm is also an affectionate man, he wouldn't want to add another death on his shoulders even though he wants the VP to be gone forever. So JW prepares another trick. You can tell that he's thought about it when he comes into the room and touched the speaker as to say "Please, do your job well." lol. And he succeeded. After all, the VP is just a clown in this show. And his ashaming performance was enough to make his family disappointed. I've realized that the VP and his family are a lot alike the boss from "The Godfather". The boss has always protected his family too much and especially his daughter, but in the end his wife leaves him because he is what he is and he remains alone. On that movie there's also a stepson who is better than the boss' sons that here would be CJW. Speaking of JW again, then it's the VP that gives JW his name while there's the funeral of the gangster. He says "The murderer Jayden is dead. You are Cha Jae Wan now." And he is also sure that a good family would adopt Ju Wan... mmmh. He also gives him the gun he used to shot the gangster as a warning to never forget this. Way to scare an already scared child and turn him into an emotionless and broken man. Also, he is scared of Baek Mi Yeon that I'm supposing is our very manager with a 2007 Rihanna haircut. lol. Who wrote that note? BMN? CJW? It's evident he believes she is dead. So if it's really BMN and not a sister, he is unaware she is the same person from 30 something years ago.

Manager Baek and Roman: BMN keeps being fishy. I felt RL uneasy around her when she admonished him for having used the hallway of the staff instead of the other entrance. He always keeps his hands below his belt and in body language this should mean he is on anticipation mode. He might be waiting for something to happen or he's just anxious. We don't know how his lunch with MN went and if the fact that he said she was going to give him all of her shares was true. Because I don't think MN would be this stupid... right? Giving up her shares would mean lose any possibility to act for the hotel. Basically lose. I wonder if Roman is also playing a game of his own.

Last but not last... CK and MN scene. I had written my thoughts yesterday before I watched the episode and I was right to say that CK wants to see that MN is worth for JW to risk his life. I hope she'll see she is despite she's acting as if she dislikes CJW. She wanted to test the waters with AMN. CK won't do anything to JW besides be his confidante and listen to him if he wants to talk about stuff he can't tell MN. She isn't pititful and desperate to run after him when she is aware that he doesn't love her and probably never will. She won't hurt MN either because otherwise JW won't ever forgive her and she doesn't want to lose his friendship either since it's the last thing that remains between them.

This was so bitter

This episode was very slow compared to the last ones we've got, probably because of the tension that was building between the main characters.

CJW went back to the dark side hoping he can destroy the VP by doing so. I am not sure if by working alone he is going to succeed, to be honest. He is like the VP's "right arm" man, but at the same time he isn't. The only weapon he has to threat the VP his the trust his family has in him. CJW came to his house showering the VP's wife and daughter with kind gifts. This is very common when someone visists the house of a superior, but it's evident he wanted to get the VP mad. This one doesn't trust CJW in my opinion. Even though he turned the way he was before Mo Ne appeared, he knows that he might be playing on both sides. It doesn't matter how MN treats JW or vice versa, he could still be thinking they agreed to do this.

Finally Mo Ne seems to have showed a little character regarding the business of her hotel. She should fight for her father's dream first and foremost. I loved how the heartbreak made the tough woman I'm sure she can be, come out. I do wonder if CJW's plan includes "training" MN with bitter reality to get reactions from her that are not the ones of an unexperienced person. Despite this, if she is really to become the real chairman, she has a long way to go. She still acts like a fragile child at times. She easily let what JW say hurt her feelings, while she should separate work from private life. The most professional woman or man is successfull because she/he doesn't let what it's not important for their job influence them. She should think more before she acts. For example, when she wanted to throw trash at the VP... that was too much. I also want to cover that man with trash, but I would control myself or I would be taken as a joke. MN doesn't get that is the main reason the VP can play with her anyway he wants. She lets personal feelings dictate her behaviour, which is not good. By doing this it's like she's already losing the game. You should always predict what your enemy will do, but act subtly (ie like GM or Manager Baek would do, but they're seasoned professionals. lol)

CJW and AMN's relationship hit rock bottom. He is avoiding her and treating her coldly on purpose, but his expressions when the VP isn't around betray him. When he saw MN getting egged, his façade faltered. He was reasoning if he should go save her or not. Somehow I'm glad he didn't. First because his plan would blow up. Second, because Mo Ne has to understand that as the chairwoman she is, she should work on herself to be strong enough to face things like this knowing that she took the blame for something she didn't do. You are strong even without CJW! This makes you look like a poor baby who needs babysitting, Mo Ne-yah. This doesn't make your position as a chairwoman look legit. So my advice is: now that JW isn't by her side, she should gather all of her strength and work hard to achieve something at least.

I do wonder where CJW's autodestructive plan will lead him. Is the VP going to prepare something to get rid of him? At the moment in his zombie state, he doesn't look too "useful" for the hotel, even if he is trying to take initiatives to oppose the chairwoman. He is not feeling anything because he is heartbroken too. Sigh. This whole revenge plot on his part looks like will head to a weird end. I don't think he is the VP's son either, and he should take a DNA test to prove it anyway. Maybe they didn't do it yet because there is a bigger secret coming up regarding CJW's parents. Uhm.

Last but not last: Roman/Loman Lee. H.o.t. I like this new addition. This guy looks smart and not one who likes to lose his time in projects he doesn't like. And he is Manager Baek's "son". He's trusted Chairman Ah's decisions and has over 20% of the shares. Wow, that's a lot. This means he can play a big part in this. The way he didn't want to go see the VP once he arrived make me think he is also testing CJW, who is playing his robotic part and showing RL the waste land where the infamous casino may be built. There must be a connection between this new guy and the chairman, perhaps. He might be his son, or just somebody related to him. But anyway someone who trusted him. When Mo Ne gets in the presentation room and gets thrown out, Roman Lee says they should stop there because that doesn't seem like a good day to continue with this. If he is someone that was affectionate to the late chairman, he must also want to help our chairwoman... right? He will indeed do what his mother will tell him, but I am not aware of which side Manager Baek is right now. Way to confuse us.

Just when I thought things wouldn't get more interesting

I already said this is the drama I like the most at the moment. This episode reinforced this idea.

Just when you think something is going to happen... it doesn't. I like that. I like that you are lead to think that a specific event is gonna occur, but then things take a road you didn't imagine. Or the opposite.

SIGH. This is how this drama makes me feel. I get the chills when Jae Won talks to anybody. He really is a puppet who is watched 24/7 but I'm glad that he while he digs into the chairman's death, he comes to new realizations. You have to understand that vice-chairman used you and that he plans to get rid of you when you least expect it!! By the way, kudos to the acting because he really is able to pull off a stiff and unemotional character. He reminds me of Tom Riddle from the Harry Potter series. I am excited for the moment he is going to take his emotions back because we saw it in the flashback, he was an altruistic child. I'm guessing Mo Nae will be the one to help him get his good side back. Jae Wan has mixed feelings for her. I like when he does little gestures like the one at the end of episode 2 and the one at the end of this episode. Sure, he could be doing this because he wants to sweeten Mo Nae's mood, but while she challenges him, he seems truly moved...

Can't wait for the next ep. :D

Birth secrets revealed

Mmmh... this episode bored me a little, to be quite honest. It was slow paced and more like a filler. Finally Mo Ne find out who JW, WH and RL's parents are. It was about time. And she is obviously disappointed with WH (only person she thought could trust in Ciel) and JW (the man she loves and tried to trust blindly). I think she didn't care too much about RL being Baek's son. But the reveal of his identity by Baek was done in order to have MN trust her instead of the only two people she trusted at the Hotel, because they had been sincere with her at least (yeah, because it was convenient to them ofc). I liked that she forgave WH for not telling her the truth but she got mad with JW. First, WH apologized to her and tried to explain. She refused to hear him but he kept trying until she decided to move on. But when it comes to JW, it's the opposite. Too many times MN has asked for explanations and she wanted to check that his feelings for her were pure, but she only got silence. JW has this bad habit to avoid to give somebody excuses even if he is not guilty, because that is how he was brought up. He learned to shut up whether he is hurt, he is happy, he is disappointed or upset. And this is not good. I'm glad that MN finally decided to play hard to get and make JW understand that he needs to let out his feelings and thoughts. She was "proud" that he was showing madness when they talked. It was a little step at least, if we compare it to the first episodes where she blamed him for the bird on her bed and for the drowning accident and he didn't even try to justify himself and stand his ground. He NEEDS to learn this in order to communicate with MN and with the rest of the world.

Finally we discovered Baek's true colors. She has been the mastermind behind the hotel and she has been moving all of the pawns on the board so easily it makes you wonder if this newfound evil queen has a weak spot. In my opinion her weakness could be finding that her son is alive. Imagining that Jae Wan is her son as the flashbacks made me think, I wonder what Baek would do if she comes to know their relation. It wouldn't be strange if she already knows and wants to go against him anyway because he is the result of a violent intercourse and just by looking at him she gets mad because JW reminds her of the VP when he was young (wow, the actor they chose for young LJK resembles JW a lot). I have no idea. But I am sure that Roman is not her true son. The way they interact is like an angel savior and a grateful man. Roman's true ego hides behind his cool and confident façade he has put up not to disappoint his momma, and to show her gratitude because she saved him from death. Like JW with the VP but since BMN was victim of rape, I don't think she would ever dare to use violence against her adopted son. Her methods to hurt people are more subtle. In fact until two weeks ago I didn't believe that Baek could be the thorn in the side. She is like a worm, she is eating the apple from the inside and now she's reached the skin and she is not able to hide anymore. I wonder what her vendetta really is. I hope for more flashbacks so we can come to understand. I do think that part of this revenge is too much anyway. We'll see.

Very funny!

This drama keeps getting funnier. I was laughing the whole time at the awkwardness of the rookie squad. Everyone is just too cute and entertaining.

Besides that, there is also the backstory of EDG that Detective Seo hasn't forgot. The way he talked with the Chief, you could tell that he was disappointed with himself that he hadn't resolved that case. I am sure he was not guilty as EDG may think. Or else he is good at pretending, but I don't think so.

I also want to know what is Detective Seo's relationship with Sa Kyung. I bet she was his ex wife... he had a ring on his married finger in the flashbacks during episode 1.

I am also eager to see how EDG and USS's relationship will develop. I love their love/hate relationship XD they sure bring parts of each other they didn't think they had.

Getting better :)

The first episode was funny but this was also cool. The characters are likeable and not boring. So far I am really interested in finding out about them all and also find out how the mystery about LSG's characters' mother was killed, as well as the Detective's past. Love that the ending song was still WTTBP! :)

Very sad episode

Finally a serious ep. Don't misunderstand me, I've really liked this drama so far but on some episodes it was just "more fun". lol.

Seung Hyun has changed all of a sudden because of his love for Ae Ra. I can't believe he's going to such lenghts to get... a woman! Like Jeong Woo said once, business and private life shouldn't be mixed. This shows how SH is still young. Enough with the revenge because the person you love isn't going to love you back!!

And the same is doing his sister. At first I really liked her character. She wasn't the usual second lead who was obsessed with the male lead and her only goal was getting his love, but then she sort of became one. Although her situation is understandable since she went through a lot because of his father, it's not good for her to want Jeong Woo only because she doesn't want to be alone. I think what she needs the most is therapy. She hasn't completely healed since the accident and like we saw in previous episodes, it's like she is imagining CJW as her dead husband... maybe she fell in love with him just because he was the closest man to her. Maybe she isn't even in love with him, she just idealized his persona.

As for Ae Ra and Jeong Woo, it's clear that their feelings for each other have resurfaced. I've been expecting for JW to find that AR had lost their child. His reaction is very IC and he was the only one who could comfort her after she remembered it. I believe we may get a baby for them after they get back together...? Y/Y? I hope so :D Right now they are in a situation where they can't be saved by their love alone. Before they can move to their dream house with a possible heir, they need to solve their current problems. Na Ae Ra may distance herself from Jeong Woo because she may think she could be a hinderance. But I see JW go get her and tell her that only if she supports him this time, they can get through this otherwise they wouldn't give themselves a chance and would repeat the same mistakes of the past.

Hope this show ends well!!

And the real story begins

This episode was quite better compared to the previous. It had action, tension, and surprises.

I am amazed at how is easy to play with Mo Ne's mind. She is easily moved when someone does something good to her, but we have seen how this way to think made her appear too naive and above all made her lose the hotel. I was waiting for the day where she would be dismissed as the chairwoman. She took this whole matter lightly, but by losing her inheritance I hope she understands that now she has to play better at this game, not to let Manager Baek do what she wants with the hotel. The fact that Jae Wan was also fired can be a good thing. Because he can team up with Mo Ne and in the meantime they could also spend some alone time to develop their relationship that these last six episodes has only been tears and angst (but these last two episodes portrayed a weak and tiring kind of angst, imo). Now that I'm supposed they will have to leave the house they live in since they are company houses, they can go to the cottage and make a lot of babies. lol. Please.

The real story starts now, with Manager Baek taking over and the VP playing her loyal puppy (altho I think he is also trying to get revenge on her at the same time). We have to see what she will do with Ciel. Is her sole purpose to take the hotel back because several years ago chairman Ah and LJK framed her for something she didn't commit? Because she's reached her goal and is making MN pay for her father's misdeeds, not knowing what they could be since they weren't revealed yet. The accusation of embezzlement is a history repeating of Baek with Ah (refer to ep 16 flashback). But so is the scene with JW driving fast to scare her so she will confess who she is. Baek wants the VP to pay too, is her real goal the destruction of the hotel? We will see. I hope that if JW is her son as they made us realize, she will stop this revenge once she finds out. Roman Lee, I know that deep down you are good. Please help us too. And you and Jae Wan need to take off your shirts so you can see that you are old chingus. Ok? Ok. :D

Best One So Far.

I don't usually give the maximum rating when I watch something, but this episode deserved it. This drama is getting better every week, and I am very glad.

As usual, my review contains SPOILERS.

This episode started with the continuation of the first kiss of Jae Wan and Mo Ne. It's so tender yet so angsty because of the truth he has just found. He looks like a scared child when MN asks him if something happened, and he just hugs her. This man is unable to express his feelings and it must be very hard to find out that he is the son of the man he loathes.

About that, it is highly possible he isn't the VP's son either. I thought Manager Baek could have found the recording and USB key in the boat before JW and edited the message Chairman Ah left to have him tamed and focused on the hotel again. The landlord of the place where MN and JW spend those two days of happiness may know who JW real mother is. My idea is that she surely worked at CIEL, probably entangled in a sort of triangle/supposed triangle with Chairman Ah and the VP. And the VP has the proestetic leg because of an accident where JW's mother was probably involved. He might not know that JW is his son... if he is his son. It could be another plot twist like the one on ep 1 about Jae Wan and Mo Ne being brother and sister.

Getting back to the main couple of this drama, this episode was full of Mo Ne/Jae Wan moments. Poor general manager needed a break. He was overworked and the new revelations tired him even more. But he still won't let Mo Ne take care of him... he has a long way to go in this regard. He doesn't think he is worthy of her love. He subtly says so in one of the later scenes where he takes his shirt off to show the woman he loves the scars of his abused past. This was a step ahead, but not enough. He has to understand Mo Ne loves him for the person he is, and this includes his past.

Speaking of this, I wonder how she will behave when Jae Wan's past including what he tried to do to the dead chairman, will resurface. On her part, Mo Ne also has to grow up. She is still pure, innocent, and lives life without any worries. It made me laugh when she talked to JW about what they could do if they lived together. That there's nothing he can't do while her only quality is being funny. This is partially true because MN is enjoyable as a person, but she also is very concerned and maternal. Probably the reason why Jae Wan fell in love with her, is because she gives him that sense of protection a mother has never given him. Mo Ne makes him feel safe, in a dream world with no worries, but he is a fatalist/realist so his girl's affection is still not enough to change his heart and destroy the guilt he feels. In a way I feel Mo Ne also feel in love with him because he is a man who can offer people more than meets the eye. He looks cold, but he is kind and cute and is able to shower his woman with simple but enormous gestures of affection. The way he pats her head or kissed her forehead during this ep, for eg. It was the cutest thing. Thankfully when you have a couple with great chemistry on a drama like LDW/LDH, you don't need kisses to demonstrate your love.

Man, I need more moments like this in the future. Jae Wan and Mo Ne playing house indirectly and her various proposals to live together and the proposal to get married - which she genuinely meant - had me gushing the whole time. I hope with my whole heart, that these and JW/MN playing with that kid few episodes back, were hints of what we will get in the end. A marriage and a child. I would LOVE to see MN getting pregnant before the end because I'd love to see how JW will act if the question about his paternity still hurts him so much. Men with father complex tend to be afraid to become father themselves, thinking that their child may turn out like them. It would be a nice road to explore to close the drama with a bang.

I talk about Mo Ne and Jae Wan too much... I'm sorry. XD But I love them! And it saddens me that he acts coldly towards her at the end of the episode, but I totally get it. He wants to protect her, but he can't do it personally so he asked WH and SA to do it. This being said, since Mo Ne doesn't know this, I hope there will be a scene where JW gets uberjealous. Would he be able to mantain his cold attitude? XD Also, gimme more angst. I beg you. lol.

Last thing I wanted to say was about Woo Hyun. Could he be adopted too? I've read theories of people who believe he is Jae Wan's hyung when he was in NYC... after all, the man he calls father doesn't look like it's his relative, or perhaps because of the death of his noona, WH refused to refer to him as father. IDK, but it seems that man has great power. I wouldn't count out that he could be Jae Wan's real father.

As usual I'm not disappointed

Like I've said in the title, I am not disappointed. As makjang as it may appear, I am loving it this drama. They added more spice by introducing Jae Wan's previous superior when he was in Las Vegas. We still don't know much about CJW, I hope this character will help us unveil more of his complex personality (IF his informations are correct, of course). Plus they also "rekindled" CJW's relationship with the VP so I expect him to be punished because he will think he put the recorded file on his laptop at the end of the episode (which I don't think he did since Manager Baek has these files as we saw last ep).

CJW and AMN's relationship is progressing as I expected. They've completely fallen for each other although Jae Wan doesn't want to admit it... he still believes they are siblings after all. Remember what Manager Baek said to Mo Ne on ep 2 (if I recall)? "Remember you are your father's only daughter." Since we found out she eavesdrop on conversations, I believe she also overheard CJW and the VP talk about him and AMN being siblings. I am not sure how she knows that is not the truth, but it's possible the manager is someone who's had history with the previous chairman and aware of the facts. I also debated whether or not she may be related to AMN. What happened to Mo Ne's mother? They've never mentioned her. What if she is an aunt or something? This is just pure speculation.

Getting back to CJW and AMN's relationship, I expected these "progresses" but I did not expect what she tells him at the end of the episode. I know she meant it. But for a 32 episodes drama, isn't that too early? Maybe they are planning to have her confess then get rejected and create this angsty and tense relationship until the truth about their relationship will be revealed on what, episode 16 probably. Sigh, tho... I really want to see their relationship grow and develop even after they might get together. They have plenty of episodes to do that and it would be sad to waste LDW and LDH's chemistry.

Nice momentary break from the real "problems"

This episode was focused on Ae Ra and Jeong Woo's relationship. It had cute moments and in the midst of her drunkiness, finally NAR voiced her real feelings. I believe that she wouldn't have kid CJW if he hadn't known what she was planning to tell him on the boat. I knew we would have to wait the last episode to get something for the couple... but anyway, things may be resolved since CJW won't let her let him go again since they still have feelings for each other and the only (if we want to be general) mistake they did while married was that they weren't able to be on each others' side when the times were bad like a husband and wife would do.

The last ten minutes were unexpected. I knew Director Guk was being too silent, and since it isn't over yet, she had to do one last thing to ruin CJW. It is a little annoying payback because he doesn't have romantic feelings for her. TSK. At least her father seems to have understood that if somebody doesn't wish to be with you, you need to let them go their way. At least his other son got it too and he seems to have let NAR go.

Waiting for the finale!
