It’s kind of hard to say for sure what the Chinese public reaction towards him because there are so many water army accounts posting on Weibo and Zhang Zhehan himself claimed that his vicious competitor manipulated public opinions with water armies to attack and defame him. I would said most “real” people know he is innocent and framed. That’s why it’s important for fans in China and international platforms to keep posting clarifications.
I’m just glad there are still people in the industry that are on his side
It’s kind of hard for former co-stars to speak up, actors in China are pretty much birds in a cage probably can’t even speak their own words without their management approving their statements. What they are doing to LXZ is like warning others not to speak up against this kind of corruption.
I think it might be a licensing issue, I hope they will come back soon. I bought his songs so they are still on my playlist but I regret not buying Lonely Dreams from WOH OST 😭
