The drama is great very informative. Clockwork Orange one of my all time favorite movie and I didnt know
that in the book it has different ending, first i didnt think what this drama tell is right but then I search
OMG the drama is right and they are right stanley kubrik gets all the credits for this one and burgess didnt.
They also mention famous writer like fujiko fujio ( doraemon creator ) and Edogawa Rampo. I even search cheburashuka
and it is real. Probably the most informative drama japan has produce. Pawn Stars should hire the her as their books expert LOL.

The female lead maybe not be fantastic actress but has this big AURA and huge screen presence, her face is unique not GENERIC JAPANESE FACE which is good.
This may sound stupid but I will not be surprised if one day I see him in some international film, hollywood casting directors didnt look for acting talent but their screen presence, BTW screen presence dont mean beauty( and I didnt find this girl beautiful ).
Kill bill 3 is in the plan chiaki kuriyama version 2? dead looks? probably.

I watch many old classics samurai movies and toshiro mifune and tatsuya nakadai were gods of japanese cinema back then. Years and years have past I was looking for a modern japanese actor that can atleast match 1/2 of what mifune and nakadai gives, I found tadanobou asano and odagiri joe but I was looking for a younger one so that I can follow his career. BUT it's difficult since japanese cinema now is conquered by fangirl actors who can't act.

Lucky that japan cinema is not dead since I find this actor who I think will be the next nakadai or mifune (I HOPE). After seeing 13 assassins and byakuyakou i believe he has a chance to get the intensity that toshiro mifune gives, and his acting range is somewhat same with nakadai with movies densha otoko, crowzero, epic show yuusha yoshihiko, sekai no chusin(ironically yamada best role to date "matsumoto sakutaro" is the grandson of "Matsumoto Kentaro" PLAYED by nakadai) and recently milocrorze where he played 3 different roles.

He's also chosen by newyork festival as young rising star of 2011 and hollywood reporters top 10 young actor to look out for. His fanbase abroad is bigger than more famous actors in japan becuase of his films with takeshi miike and for his character Serizawa.

I have a feeling that he will go in the same path like actors toshiro mifune and tatsuya nakadai.

I'm really amazed at how many people rate this movie as "brilliant". The movie started out okay, but…
thats what you get for watching so many movies by fangirl actors.

yes its 4 hours long.

sakura ando stole the show for me. In my opinion her screen presence surpasses chiaki kuriyama in kill bill and her character is the best villian I seen in japanese cinema.
