Actually I saw once in a YouTube video that it's normal for women to cheat on their spouses and that women are…
That video was created for views. Seriously the glorification of Japan and the dark side of Japan these contents on youtube are both exaggeration. Japan is not a heavenly place but it's also not place full of immoral people. If cheating are normalize then we won't see celebrities getting cancelled for doing it.

its cool the managed to insert cute moment seamlessly in a story with gloomy vibe. btw what do you think the last…
For me it's just simply wishing them luck but then you can't always count on luck.

This is an example of a movie with dark gloomy setting that would make you feel suffocated but manage end up positive. Japan seems to be good at doing that. I'm still not convice it would work tho but still an improvement for both of them. Solid acting from both leads, the camera work transition is nice and I really like that daruma game symbolism towards the end.

What an ending lol. She married a vessel with 6 million people in it that would be equivalent to generations of generation of generation of people before her. I have many question what would be their setup and they manage to produce a baby just imagining operation sex made me loled so hard. I watched this drama raw with my limited Japanese so my ultimate question is this is GL right?

The visuals are damn fine the direction showcasing the craft is very good as expected from this director (chihayafuru, liar and his lover, taiyou no uta etc). But this movie lacks gripping narrative, execution felt flat or perhaps covering so much material for less than 2 hours was just not enough. The title, the theme, the depth, this could have been alot better I might check the manga later. Side characters also felt like wasted to a point where I could say are they even needed. Both leads look so good Kaya Kiyohara and Yokohama Ryusei never been this gorgeous just don't expect any romance between them.

Mondai no Aru Restaurant gave us Nikaido, Mitsuki and Matsuoka and now these 3 whom are the best of their generation. What a cast plus scriptwriter and director combo.

I guess the weakest point of this film compared to other Park Chan Wook's masterpieces is the hook wasn't strong at the beginning. That stylish transition can also get confusing if you weren't paying attention but gladly it picked up once characters' motivation became more clear, then from then on the film was really solid. Love the dynamics between these two really complex characters it just makes the film more intriguing and should I say I enjoy the sexual tension as well. This movie also gives you different vibe compared to modern asian movies the cinematography is great the quality is up to modern standards but the music, pacing and dialogue gives you that 90's asian movie vibe and I love that. Overall it is really good film but like always it is not for everyone even to those who enjoy park chan wook movies it is more catered towards those who enjoy in depth character study film.
