Very satisfactory, entertaining, non-stressful drama. Great team development. The ending was perfect. None of the dreaded romance. Except for Joon Young, that was so cute. Hope it stays that way in S2.
Totally disappointed.... you just wrote what i felt
We're not supposed to say these things. Same thing with Park Hyung Sik who was mostly intolerable in Doctor Slump. I guess we just don't welcome hysterical attacks from the babies.
Ngl, she aced the action roles in the past but man, Jongseo gotta work hard on her emotional scenes. EP8 ending…
I get increasingly frustrated with her acting. Yes, she was different in the first episodes and in the action scene. The acting is somehow off, because she's unresponsive with her co-actors, she doesn't even look at them when they talk. The same straight face all the time, lines delivered in a very flat tone. If she was more lively and emotional, I'd have enjoyed the last 2 episodes more, despite the standstill situation.
I really enjoyed the first six episodes. The FL was fresh and unique. But in 7 & 8 she turned into a typical,…

I haven't been able to watch any of the ep during the past 2 years. But I tend to check the first 5 mins. They've gone from roasting each other to roasting the guests which doesn't sit well with me. Oftentimes the guests are visibly uncomfortable. Namgoong Min said it very well, "what's this, I thought you'd bash me but you are praising me" (My Dearest ep was the only one I've watched, half of). The bros are no doubt paid well but now they just expect the guests to bring all the comedy. The new setting doesn't help bc the guests are not in the teacher position but rather like defendants in a court setting.
I think they covered the topics of healing, growth and forgiveness well. The romance is a little too cringe for…
What are YOU doing? If you're bothered by comments, do stop reading them and stick to watching the drama. Calling people haters is babytalk because it just so happens that this is a reviewing and commenting site. Not a fansite.
I skipped 2/3 of the last four episodes. I agree this would have been much better as a 12 episode drama. As it went, I barely managed to finish. The cringe factor ruined everything that was good and interesting in the beginning. 6.5/10
Chicken Nugget is genuinely funny. More in an improvised than scripted style, meaning sometimes it's more rudimentary than sophisticated. And sometimes it made me almost burst out laughing. At the core a very warm hearted drama. A great cast of characters, the mains are just brilliant. But all supports and guests were absolutely enjoyable to watch, each getting their own moments in the spotlight. Despite this being essentially pure slapstick, there was the serious moment when the aliens got to say where earthlings had gone amiss. They offered to show how to use the machine and set things straight with the nugget, but instead of negotiations everything went haywire. Because earthlings could only react in a full-on war mode. With consequences. That moment was metaphorically hyper-realistic. References I loved the most: Be Melodramatic (I so agree! except for the Shampoo song, pls someone make it disappear), BTS (and centering), Twin Peaks, Moving, Cha Eun Woo. Jinyoung guesting. All in all, I would warmly recommend this 8.5/10
Yes, it's really disturbing. How could they let her cut her hair in the middle of the production?
I've never seen this happen before. I was even confused whether it was 2 different characters. Because it's different hair in different scenes within the same episode. Of course such drastic changes are never allowed for main characters unless it's different seasons.
