My guess are : they were doing experiments on kids and some awaken(title) powers. 3 kids survived the tragedy…
I don't think she looks exactly the same, because all the children from that place has the same short haircut, in that sketch she had a long her that looks the same as Jamie's now. When the girl whom Jungwoo asked her to find Jamie said "He hasn't seen that guy over 28 years ago like that girl. Why he don't know him" I felt like they giving us hints.
Oh and another one... the way they just stared at the guy who drowned?? in the swimming pool was a little Really!…
Yes this one too.. but this is the least frustrating because they really might not know the guy was drowning himself. But what I didn't like, they focused on the guy even before they know he is the victim, dragged the pool scene so much, exaggerated the sound effects.. but not a big deal really.
plot wise its not the best thing ever, and also not that great. I was really disappointing two times, when they were chasing the trucks, the way they lost them makes no sense. The other one is the train scene, I don't get why no one stopped the guy. I know he should die for the sake of the plot, but it would be better if they arrived late than coming in time and do nothing. In the other hand, the story overall is good, loved that concept, loved the mysterious vibes. The directing is great and the soundtracks are PHENOMENAL. I do see its potential and I hope for a better coming episodes. I'm not judging based on one episode, just stated my initial feelings to see how they gonna change.
If not is anyone able to share more about what was mentioned in the trailers:)
I will write some of what I remember I read its translation, or understood from the trailer:
- Jungwoo and Jamie believe the have met each other (both are 36 yrs old). - Jamie thinks Jungwoo is a dangerous person. - Jungwoo also doubt her back. - Hyewon thinks Jungwoo have changed recently and he is not like the Jungwoo she used to know. - Jamie says "all victims smile before they die, happily." - Jamie says "I keep feeling that me and Jungwoo are the same person." - Jungwoo says "I must be the criminal then."
What she is doing doesn't make sense.
