It's probably because KBS is government owned but i don't understand why kdramas have to end everything with justice.…
Wait so only Murim went to jail? At worst, he should have lost his badge/ suspended for keeping it a secret if the others werenβt held accountable either. What happened to the others?
(I dropped the drama after 25 episodes a while back because of the terrible subs but a bit curious to know how it ended)
Here's the bottom line of the whole ex wife bullshit....She didn't want to have children with him.Even if there…
It feels like that ngl. I get being afraid to talk but ALL her actions point out to how little she gives a damn about him.
To waterdown his bond with Hash as "abandonment" is just rediculous.π€¦ββοΈ Does she need a Hangul dictionary or thesaurus? She keeps using the wrong words to articulate her thoughts (at least that's he go to excuse "didn't mean it that way").
Ep 12- ex BF will make an appearance (they will have another case together).
Ex wife- probably yes since Yun and she needs to finalize Hash's future since she has to move to Singapore soon. There will be no romantic third wheeling draama but this could be Yun's final phase of getting closure.
Maybe itβs just me but I see a little something between the two leads. Itβs very low-key on his part, maybe…
I think it's the timing that's important.
Like with Suits US, Mike had over 2 season or so to court Rachel and with Harvey, even more).
I do love how they've handled KHM and Yun's emortional intimacy progression so far though so hopefully the writer will not disappoint us with the way they wrap up things π€
TBF the eventual romance/ current sincereity he feels for her didn't just happen overnight- the drama has been…
Honestly i don't think we'll get a full on romance ending. More like an open ending with hints of something promising? Their priority is anyway Yullim's legal issues with Blue Mountain anyway.
What I like about this drama is that IF the MC is suppose to have romance, the pacing is realistically slow. I mean it would be wrong for Yun to chase after KHM while being at odds with the ex even if they are the leads. Being senior- junior also means that they can't just jump into a relationship as they need to prepare for the poetntial fallout (Yun seems too practical to make such an impulsive decision).
So glad I didn't watch this. I can't stand baiting with romance.
Haha good call! There's no point forcing yourself π
If i'm not mistaken there'll be a few more new romance dramas that will be out soon π (ATM I only know about "Bon Appetit Your Majesty "for an ongoing kdrama but honestly i'm afraid to recommend it since I can't shake off the potentual k-trauma ending vibes)π
So glad I didn't watch this. I can't stand baiting with romance.
I do admit it is at a snail pace from the ML's side- that's why most call the romance "non existent" πππ
I guess it's more realistic given his circumstances? He's been at odds with his ex wife for the first 6-7 episodes and only was able to get proper closure from her somewhere between ep 7-9 so it wouldn't feel right for him to hit on the FL while being mad at the ex.
The romance-legal ratio isn't like with Suspicious Partners/ Judge from hell for instance. We know the FL adores him (he even caught her drunk sniffing his handkerchief once since she loves his perfume π ) but he's more like soft centered hard chocolate- serious on the outside (but not mean) but a softy once he let's his guard down.
Personally i don't really care if they get together or not but i do love seeing their emotional intimacy.
So glad I didn't watch this. I can't stand baiting with romance.
They do have an underlying main case too that's been going on since ep 1. It revolves around corruption within Yullim (the law firm they represent).
As for romance, if you are into slow burn dramas that focus on building their emotionaal intimacy (specially given that she's a junior and he's her direct senior/ they've known eachother barely a few months), then this is for you. But if you need something more fast paced, probably not your cup of tea (specially since individual cases do not interest you either).
Said it before and I will say it againWith every appearance , the ex wife keeps getting Worse and Worse! You think…
Seriously. Somehow the latest explanation makes things worse.
Not being ready for kids and keeping him out of the loop since she didn't want to deal with him over a healthy pregnancy is unfair but understandable in a way BUT if it's a legitimate medical reason, how could she not let him know?
The tortured matyr act is so exhausting. π
(From Yun's side, they could have tried couples therapy if he wanted to help her but that doesn't give the ex the right to blame him when the core issue was her hiding the problem in the first place)
I believe based on Ep 12 preview and the way ep 11 ended, we will get some closure on this topic.
Exactly! We probably won't see them get handsy like with the Second couple but there's definitely sparks flying or at the very least a promising future.
Please NO, getting the ML to start looking at the FL in a romantic way in the last episode is just RIDICULOUS…
TBF the eventual romance/ current sincereity he feels for her didn't just happen overnight- the drama has been slowly building his feelings since ep 2/3 subtly.
It was clearly mentioned that Yun doesn't share his private life with anybody and more importantly his private thoughts due to his insecurities but KHM has been slowly breaking his walls since the beginning. She is his confidante and even got to see his "dark" side during the child abuse case.
We also know that Yun's main reason for falling for his ex was because he could be himself with her (or at least that's what he thought). With KHM you can see the side of him we only got to see when Hash was around. So it's not sudden romance. They've been getting emotionally connected for quite some time now.
You might suggest that we could also consider this as platonic from his side but it's a kdrama. Which ML can resist it when the FL keeps protecting him? Specially when they vibe together so well?
That being said, we might not get π₯π₯π₯ like with the second couple given their circumstances but it will at least probably end with sparks flying.
Did i miss the part where they got together? Last thing i remember before them eating together and him cutting…
I think the fact that she was able to move forward with her daughter in the last episode kind of helped her realize that she needs to embrace her life better? Like the SML suggested?
I think it's the fact that Mei deserves to be with someone who could truly love her too.Sure Nian would have benifited…
It's a vicious cycle. They are people with a strong conscience dealing with a terrible fate.
Can Xun really move on knowing that Tian was still moaning his death? If she stopped coming to his grave at least, perhaps yes. But she didn't. And from Tian's side, she blames herself for Xun's death (he ended up in jail / expelled protecting her). So Tian too in good conscience cannot move on. They should have but it's in their nature unfortunately π₯²
If it helps, Nian doesn't look like she was disadvantaged by not having a mother and Mei probably was better off being with someone who truly cared about her (at least I hope soπ€).
Regarding episode 9: Employments contracts with no base salary are a recipe for exploitation. The fact that Yullim's…
The point of the restructure is to weed out the dead weight they can't simply fire (considering most of them came through client connections). Yullim will probably change the policy back/ make it more fair once things settle.
Ep 8Xun doesn't give himself a second chance and lived his life with regret which is visible no matter how much…
I think it's the fact that Mei deserves to be with someone who could truly love her too.
Sure Nian would have benifited but it isn't really fair for Mei in the long run either since she obviously liked Xun. Her offer wasn't because she only loved Nian.
Eventually that love could grow into recentment since Xun would never let go of Tian knowing that it's his fault that she keeps coming back to an empty grave every year.
Also, did they ever mention why Tian's marriage fall apart? I've been trying to find that episode but I couldn't. For now logically i believe one reason could have been because she too couldn't completely let go of the past between her mum's unsolved case and her not being able to let go of Xun (i mean how can she when he sacrificed his chance to change to protect her?). Not saying the ex husband must have been perfect but living in the past can hinder your present too.
Can someone please type in the entire storyline for me.? Please ,, Im scared and donβt want to be traumatised…
It's hard to watch at times, but it has a happy ending for the ML and FL.
That being said, do not get attached to the 2026 SFL (ML's adopted daughter) and SML(FL's son) since this drama didn't get the usual C-drama timetravel censorship treatment. Changing the past events in 1991 impacted 2026's current timeline in the end.
