And what did BAEK SA EON do in the end if not be the presidential spokesperson??? Hate it when they go with that…
He's a negotiator- they said it at the end. We basically came full circle with his story.
The series started with Paek Sa Eon negotiating with Argan to save hostages (eventhough it wasn't part of his SP role) and now in his new life he does the same thing.
New house- he wanted to start a new life so this could have been part of what he wanted? An ordinary (yet beautiful) house for their new ordinary life π
Iβm wondering π€ looks like they missed the genre tag plus Iβm sure the last episode wonβt disappoint
I personally loved the ending....they served (and really really served)!π€π€π€
We got their ordinary life and extra ordinary life too. Annnnd there aren't any loose ends either. Even the mum's arc was handled tastefully.
About the rediculous plot point I guess in a way it's understandable since the particular location was only mentioned once at the beginning of ep 1 so most wouldn't recall it but at the same time it isn't entirely rediculous since we did get hints that SE was familiar of this kind of area (i'm trying not to spoil it in case you haven't watched ep 12 yet).
Then again since I read the novel bits of that particular part of the story I might be bias - it's like having a cheat sheetπ Perhaps they could have elaborated abit more on why that particular location was selected for non novel fans since in the novel it was explained.
Overall though it was satisfying β€οΈ
Sounds like your Saturday was exhausting!!!But would love to hear your opinion once you get a chance to catch up π
I just was waiting that the second male lead would be the female lead's dead brother. I thought he lost his memories…
It wouldn't make sense for the SML to be the dead brother...why would Chairman Hong abandon his ONLY son who was barely 2 years old when he had bargaining power over the Baeks?
He could have been the twin but he cannot be HeeJoo's brother
I mean, why include the war story? How does it connect to the story? [ 7/10 ]
It was in the novel. It was explained more in detail - he made a deal with the government or something like that (can't recall now). Heeju wasn't supposed to go to Argon. But temptation got in the wayπ
umm comment section is giving bipolar. but personally if u enjoyed extraordinary you, u will enjoy this. extraordinary…
He's a serial kidnapper/ killer.
Except for the last timeline, Sol just happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's why in the final timeline he had no interaction with her at all.
If we bring fate into the conversation, it's actually Sunjae whose fate is tangled with the driver since Sunjae will always act as an obstactle even if it's done unconsciously like in the final timeline.
Iβm wondering π€ looks like they missed the genre tag plus Iβm sure the last episode wonβt disappoint
Exactly πππ
Most dramas would fall apart if you take them too seriously π π π
Personally I feel like we might get at least 20 mins of their happily ever after. I mean, they have been pushing "Heeju's ordinary life " theme really hard during the last couple of episodes. It would be terrible if they don't folow up on it properlyπ
Even the novel had that criticism previously if I'm not mistaken since the novel officially ended after they reunited and the writer later added bonus chapters (I'm not very sure if these chapters were published in a separate book though).
So the screenwriter would be mindful of this right by not repeating the same mistakes?
I swear, if the reason Sa Eon disappeared is that the psycho told him his father caused the accident, it's going…
Considering how SE reacted when he found out he was Heeju's new prison, this could kill him to know that he was part of the reason for all her misery (even if he is wrong).
I feel like may be there is more to the encounter with the Hong kids and the real SE? It doesn't really make sense why the chairman would want to murder a toddler just because he saw real SE's face once unless the kid met both Sa Eons (separately) long enough to understand what happened.
Did In Ah mention that she met Sa Eon for the first time after the accident or before the accident?
With one episode left, I really hope it wonβt disappoint. If the finale ends up revealing something we already…
There's nothing left to reveal IMO. Even the cops are upto speed with everything.
They just need to wrap up everything now. All that's really left is for Heeju's SE to reclaim his identity and for them to finally have their happily ever after :)

TMAI- why waste your energy over ratings? π€·ββοΈ
Other than the injuries , I can't think of any plot holes honestly. But even the injuries were managed in a way you can justify somehow π
Even the way PDJ met real SE was handled really well (i went overboard trying to come up with a theory how they met online- didn't expect it would be so simple).
Think some are confused by the "what if" moments in ep 11 since I saw some complaining that originally the drama made it sound like they always had a bad marriage but now they are saying a different thing.
Then there's HJ's mum's arc too since some are mad that the writer is trying to white wash her now. But in a way her reaction makes sense right? Her last conversation with HJ was HJ finally confronting her. The guilt over losing HJ would finally open the mum's eyes to see that what she did was truly wrong. The mum is still bad but she is allowed to feel guilty and grief too π
Think the main issue is that some deep dive into scenes while forgetting that this is a kdrama at the end of the dayπππ
Did you notice any plot holes? (Sorry for the long rant! Didn't expect it to be this long)
YesAlso how did you avoid the spoilers?? I watched ep 11 and even hours later my SNS is still flooded with scenes…
Exactly!!! I totally agree with what you said about expectations π
Haha my only complaint is that we will have to let them go after tonight!
I seriously enjoyed WTPRβ€οΈ. I mean I knew I would like it the moment I read the summary but didn't expect to get this obsessed.
Plot holes wise, I'm fine with the way they explained things so I'm not really going to nitpick over them. The drama's timeline is 1 month so it wouldn't really be feasible to make injuries realistic the way some complain. π€·ββοΈ
Best part is I got to know more about the leads. I've seen CSB and YYS perform previously but this time they really blew my mind. Absolutely adore their performance. Now the only thing I want is for them to give Heeju at least 30 mins of "ordinary life" tonight- we all need it πππ
Is there much left unexplained at this point though?
The backstory for both points have been covered between ep 7-11.
Ep 12 will bring justice for both stories - prison or death for the real son. As for the car accident, honestly idk how they can bring justice since the grandfather is dead.
The mum is sharp. She figured out all the secrets including fake SE's identity and the fact that Heeju can talk.
Based on what she said in the integration room, the parents were made to believe that the grandson drowned during a fishing trip but perhaps the way the grandfather reacted and forced her to raise the replacement kid must have made her realize the truth eventually.

We need judge Kang Bitna on their side
