POTENTIAL NOVEL SPOILER WARNING!
If they follow the novel, they might go for that thrope but since we only have 4 episodes left, idk if they have time to dedicate for a fake death plotπ
it is for those who consider the assistant to be the culprit(twin brother)
π€£π€£π€£π€£
I'm too invested in it for my own good πππ
Oh also, one of the MDL users pointed out that the person who visited the fisherman was SU because of his shoes π So there are even more possibilities now (though I'm still sticking to Park as the main suspect)
Hereβs a theory Iβm sure someone else has probably already commented: the kidnapper is the missing son, the…
SML knowing that FL can speak-
Honestly I feel like we are giving Heeju too much credit on the fact that she has kept silent all this time. Yes, she's amazing and super cautious most of the time BUT we also know that there's always room for accidents to happen. So far 3 people close to HJ figured out her secret without her knowledge so may be she may have accidently done something unconsciously?
Since SU and HJ spent alot of their college days listening to music, may be HeeJu accidently hummed or sang without her noticing she was doing it close to SU? Or she did something while she was drunk?
Also SU may have seen Heeju's application to interview as a newscaster? The guy is sharp so he may have connected the dots based on the above?
It might be In Ah? Based on how Heeju looked, the accident probably happened shortly after HeeJu joined the family…
I think Chairman Hong must have paid for In Ah's surgery orrr she may have used her own money (unlike Heeju, she probably would have had a trust fund or something similar made on her own since she was technically around 29/30 years old at the time of the wedding).
You should totally try Flowers of Evil! Similar vibes except that the MC has a loving relationship (eventhough there's secrets involved)!
If the preview is correct, Sang U probably followed SE (he is nosy enough to do it) so was able to save them from…
Exactly...as a trained psychologist, he would be good at masking his emotions too and he himself admitted that he has been planning for a long time (even using his YT channel and background to gain as much attention as possible).
Even the Twin theory can still work on him since the Nun at the orphanage joined after the incident so it's possible that she joined after he left (so she wouldn't know what he looked like as a kid)π«
Ngl I'm loving the fact that his character is so complex instead of makjng him part of a whiney love triangleπ
The amusement park was Sa Eon's gift to Heeju to replace her traumatic memories of the place with a sweeter one…
Considering the kidnapper situation, i get what you mean. I kept waiting for a jump scare since the kidnapper did say he was coming to get the phone too. The scene made me feel low key anxious π
it is for those who consider the assistant to be the culprit(twin brother)
Based on what we know about the assistant so far, he has been by Sa Eon's side for a verrrry long time- even long before they joined the Presidential Office (ep 1- Chief Kang implied that Park was a former reporter/ later one of the female coworkers mentioned that SE brought Park to his team).
Sa Eon may be meticulous for the most part, but he seems to be a little too comfortable with Park- even enough to get his help with Bodyguards and choosing a home for Heeju's dad. We also know that Park is tech savvy or at the very least has tech savvy connections. He could have figured out HeeJu's connection by hacking through something may be?
One thing I'm curious is about SE's marriage records. How easy is to access marrital records in South Korea? If they registered their marriage, there should be a record somewhere right? π
I've managed to figure out that in the novel we have an element of a farewell confession and a fake death of our…
Not yet ...but i think this could be foreshadowing. The preview indicates that Sa Eon survived the fire (and it's public knowledge since he was brought to a hospital). It would be too difficult to fake his death in a place where he doesn't have control of.
It's hard to say honestly since they've changed the plot quite abit.
What I find a bit odd in this show is the ML not learning signs language. How can you love someone so much and…
It's his way of protecting his heart probably?
No SL= no way to communicate with Heeju= no way to connect with her on an emotional level.
He may have known a few basic signs like "it's ok" due to his exposure (and he is smart enough to figure them out if the same terms come up alot like how international fans know certain korean words)π
Hey can someone please explain this to time . Who has twin brother the ml or someone else? Second who is real…
SPOILER IF YOU DIDN'T WATCH EP 8!!!
Based on ep 8, our Sa Eon doesn't seem to have any connection with the Orphanage at least at the time of the disappearances. He already had a guardian before he was adopted.
I agree with Bowwie's comment about the Twin theory- it's the most logical one so far π
The real Sa Eon is probanly the kidnapper because SE's mum and Sang U both reacted strangely when "odd eye" was mentioned (+ the guy was waaay too fixated on SE in the hospital scene).
If the preview is correct, Sang U probably followed SE (he is nosy enough to do it) so was able to save them from…
Oooh....good eye! I totally didn't realize why they showed the shoes! You just made this even more intense πππ
Like SU could have met the dad first to get more clues for whatever reason and while returning may have seen SE coincidentally....ORRRRRR....he could have hurt the dad and then decided to follow SE to complete the job/ give himself a good alibi by saving them?
Sang U did look really creepy during his confrontation with SE....almost viper like the way he was focussing on SE (then again it could be that he was blindsided by SE's confrontation and was too excited about the new crumbs he got)πππ
The amusement park was Sa Eon's gift to Heeju to replace her traumatic memories of the place with a sweeter one…
True, even as a spokesperson, it would have been difficult to set it up last minute since even the call happened way past 10pm...but eh that's kdrama magic?π€£
If I'm not mistaken, it had been a few days since the accidentand HeeJu was mostly there to get bed rest since like she said, all her tests were back normal in a previous scene. If it's bed rest, then may be she was able to sneak out of the hospital (specially with the help of kdrama magic againπ)
Kdramas aren't complete without a carrousel ride at the very least anywayπ
It might be In Ah? Based on how Heeju looked, the accident probably happened shortly after HeeJu joined the family…
It is an interesting theory ngl.
I agree with you on the fact that Mama Baek may have known that her son was alive but didn't have any contact with him? I mean why would she send a message on national television and risk blowing her cover if her son was only one call away? She definitely regrets her past actions though so will probably join forces with him eventually? She kind of reminds me of the mum in Flowers of Evil π
Since the drama revolves around politics, perhaps the reason why the Hongs might have been in trouble was because of some kind of political scandel? Perhaps something to do with bribes? But since In Ah was a kid when the accident happened, idk why they'd target her unless it's because she is the heir of the Hong family?π
Can't be. The mum wouldn't have risked blowing her cover with her speech if she was in contact with her son already.…
Ooooh yes! That makes more sense. Our Sa Eon would have been too young to notice this/ may have not spent long enough to notice the eye mutation but his dad would have and never forgot about it!
The real Sa Eon does seem kooky enough to wait till the EOD to cause chaos ππ€£
I absolutely adore Lovely Runner but I'm glad that WTPR and LR do not really have to compete together in this awards season. I honestly can't choose between the 2 atm. The genres are so different and similar at the same time, and they've both got me hooked π
Guys lets not forget about sang woo's very detailed sketch of chairman's ring. He is definitely connected in some…
Sang U mentioned about a portrait that was in the villa when he was with Yuri.
Assuming it was a family portrait, may be he saw the ring in it? As a kid, he would have been more interested in the "cool" dragon ring than the people posing so that's why he might still remember the ring and he's trying to use the ring to identify the mask kid's identity?
LGG was amazing in Flowers of Evil!!! Fair warning- the drama is very binge worthy so think about your schedule before you start π

Heeju being there is a coincidence for now but then again sjnce Sang U was the one who reache out to her, it could mean anythingπ
Even the Twin theory can still work on him since the Nun at the orphanage joined after the incident so it's possible that she joined after he left (so she wouldn't know what he looked like as a kid)π«

I really hope WTPR will have a strong finish just like LR...it's been so promising so farπ©·
