I'm laughing because all the powerful men are puzzled why the strategic and intelligent Marquis of Wu'An is placing his efforts and energy on the bandits and Lin'An instead of focusing on the more "important and obvious" thing, like LuCheng. π
I'm glad they didn't change Qi Min character. Watching ep 19 was so traumatizing. My sweet Qian Qian. She deserves…
I haven't gotten there, but, sigh...this comment is hard to take. So sad for this character that I have to RIP off my list. Yes, Qian QIan deserves happiness, so QI Min has to go if he's hurting her.
Yes, they are. But if the brothers are sincere towards each other and have a tight bond, it adds complexity to their freakiness. It means they're not without emotion, but their pervertness was probably due to the environment they were raised in and the negative influence of perhaps their Lord/father.
ep 17, do you think the SUI brothers are really closed, or Qi Min is only pretending? I do think the younger brother is authentic with the relationship though, just not sure about the older one.
It's really feels weird how every actors we love will probably act as a grandpa or a father after 20 years. Yan…
90% of cdramas with romance have ML's in their 20-35, so it's rare to cast a male actor beyond that age. Wallace Chung is the only person I can quickly think of who breaks this mold because even a few years ago he was still cast as ML in drama with romance tag.
Help me understand, I've only finished one C-drama so far, and currently I'm watching some of the most beloved…
Wow, this question deserves an essay, but I don't have time. Here's my quick and dirty bullet points/list, and probably missing some.
cinematography, color scheme, background sound effects, good use of slow-mo and close-up shots and nice angles.
really good fight scenes and choreography
great chemistry for the the main couple. they look great together. FL is kind and competent in handling all matters, including turning bullies into her minions. ML is intelligent, capable, and loyal.
there's a cute little sister who's also kind and smart.
there's a a prized falcon that somehow got adopted by FL's family.
The villains, you feel for them, and wonder why they become like that, and almost wanted something better for them.
nice story/plot. It doesn't really give you everything. So, it's like slowly revealing a bit at a time.
Rough list, but maybe other commenters can add to it.
I was upset that he did that because it violates the 'Unspoken Rules for Happy Ending' for a character. I hope…
I think QM is beyond a happy ending after having seen his tactics up to ep 17. He may still have a redemption arc, but don't think he will make it out alive in the drama. It's a pity because I did envision him with his "family", but so far he seems mentally unstable.
Better get to work now!!
