I totally agree with you about Song Yi. I feel that she’s well casted for the role. Three episodes in, I was already thinking to myself who else could have done this role because it needs a certain level of maturity yet strong feminine aura. I didn’t read the novel but the way Song Yi projects YuRu is very ideal and suiting for this drama.

I suppose if you compare Gu's family to the imperial palace and its relation to it, it'll be easier to accept the number of servants. Also, for the emperor to be after their wealth to fund the state, we're taking about billion dollars Amazon business type wealth in magnitude, not the town's millionaire. It would look ungodly to have only a handful of servants.

That aside, it looks great though when all the servants line up and listen to LYR's command instead of GJS, especially the head butler. 😀

It's a first for me to see melon = gossip as well. I guess it's derived from the sound alike word "gua" in "bat gua (gossip)." The word melon is also "gua" although in a different tone.

There's a schedule pic posted under the photos section. If I remember correctly, I believe it's 2 eps per day this entire week, and then changes to ThFSSun thereafter the remaining airing time. Although, in the past, I've seen deviation from posted schedules for some other series, so it's subject to change.

Liu Xue Yi does look like a different person in here. His face seems fuller; cheeks aren't as hollow and lost the gaunt look.

Just finished all 6 episodes and I want more NOW! It's such a feel good and satisfying drama to watch - other than the evil stepmother and step-sisters, and LYR's incompetent father. Everybody else is so down to earth including all the maids and servants, and Gu family's employees.

"Destined" is quickly becoming one of my favorite dramas and we're only 6 episodes in!

LYR is truly an intelligent and wise person. I like how she encourages GJS with his study and praises him in order to overcome his inferior complex in regard to Ye Shi An. She is able to recognize his high aptitude should he put an effort to the task. She knows he's a diamond in the rough.

Liu YuRu certainly has hit the "in-law" jackpot. A woman couldn't have hoped for better in-laws who granted her unlimited support, trust, and respect.

What an opulent wedding set. Additionally, instead of the traditional all red wedding costume, the bride is wearing a rich green top with red bottom. The gold filigree fan is beautiful. Such a luxurious look!
