This director really knows how to apply plot twists, at least based on his MJTY drama. For best viewing experiencing, I rather not be spoiled although normally I don't mind trailers and spoilers for typical cdramas.

Hahaha.,.Bai Jiu cracks me up how he's so scared of ML, especially when ML fake-snarled at him. LOL

What I like about this drama. ==> It's not based on a novel, so no one knows what's going to happen next. I don't have to worry about novel readers sharing unsolicited "I know it all" or "they changed the storyline" disputes. Mr. Guo knows how to keep the suspense up and dangles us viewers along like rabbits hopping for carrots.

It's not wuxia. It's fantasy, so more in line with xuanhuan.

Glad to see Tian Jia Rui in a more likeable role this time around vs. MJTY.

Neo does a great job here as the demon lord. He has that grand aura mannerism in how he carries himself. I think his best role yet.

This show takes precedence over all other shows for me at the moment. I'm also watching KMLM, and slowly trying to finish Snowy Night. As for the Rise of Ning, as much as I love Zhang Wan Yi, I have to drop it because I can't stand Ren Min's voice and the scheming family plot. I strongly recommend you watch FoF because the cinematography is simply out of this world.

I think you're right. Your reminding of MRJH's absolute faith in her loyalty to the Emperor changed my mind. Well, I'm glad because I was sorely disappointed at first of her love for CP; that how could a supposedly wise general be so blind as not to read CP's evil ways. Looking forward to see how she'd be the CP's downfall.

ep 22, WOw, I'm impressed with the fight scene! Nice choreography. Wu Jin Yan is a true star with her martial arts performance.

I didn't read the novel so no clue how "grey" or what bada*s level MRJH was. However, Cdramas don't want to risk getting in trouble with the gov't, so everything is toned done to pass censorship. Numerous completed cdramas never got to air because something went wrong with censorship/gov't. This means, can't have too much BL, sex, violence, abuse, drug, skin, revolution-idea, brainwashing, cult, toxic relationship, villain/anti-hero/grey character idolatry...you got the idea.

I was thinking the exact same thing!!! Now I know why the cast manager wanted him for this role. I didn't hate him that much at first but now I'm beginning to hate this character so much that even Baron can't save the CP.
