I just did. And I loved his performance. I literally left a comment on that movie's page right after it finished. He is brilliant. And now I am going down a rabbit hole and watching his other works.
Captivating. I came to this film from Silent Truth (ongoing) after being impressed by Ryoma Takeuchi. And damn! He is a shape shifter. He is perfection in this production.
This is such a visual pleasure and an emotional tease. And it lands perfectly without going overboard. But Ryoma Takeuchi is impressive. I think its time I discover his other works too.
I have to say this is my first Takeuchi Ryoma show and I’m impressed. His performance is nuanced and restrained and effortless. I will surely be watching his other works.
➡️ Cha Mu Hee greatest hits from episodes 4-6 - making maple leaf 🍁 hearts - finding four leaf clovers and then dancing with joy 🍀 - pouting like a glum koala cos the aurora viewing might not possible - tripping and fumbling her way around - becoming totally dependent on the translator princess - has the least amount of interaction with her manager - in fact it looks like she’s his intern 😅 - she’s in love with the translator princess and we don’t know why or when that happened. She just is. - cha mu hee has the intelligence of a house fly. She’s actually on a Job but collecting clovers for good luck in love with a man she barely knows. - Cha Mu Hee is very invested in why her love interest’s brother’s marriage is postponed. Girl is in everyone’s business. But when she’s told to mind her business she’s an adult with a comeback “you’re so mean”. And then has a meltdown. - the use of do rami aesthetic is just an annoying filler. The visualisation of the split personality in the chosen way is just a bad creative choice. It feels like the budget was too much and it needed to be spent in this gaudy extravagance 🤷🏻♀️

Thinks out loud all the time and mumbles and grumbles. It’s as if he’s an underdeveloped person. Cartoonish almost. - everybody is inviting themselves to Jisun’s wedding when she has just said it’s a small wedding where only family is invited and that’s why she’s able to push it ahead 🤡 - the wedding is cancelled but the brothers don’t talk to each other about it even once. Like hey! your girlie is here telling me that you guys ain’t getting married. What am I hearing? What’s up with you two? 🤷🏻♀️ - the resident translator gets into an accident and the production doesn’t even have a proper replacement. Oh boy oh boy 💀😅 - the new producer is more interested in her side quest to cheat than the job. It seems to be a common theme. - it’s just constant drudgery in the name of a romcom. To me, cos I’m using my brain cells, it just feels like. Hey we have this much budget. Let’s throw in whatever we can to make sure we spend it. Every single thing I have seen in this show thus far could have been done in Korea. Like there is no need for Canada. Or this show to be frank. - Lastly if I’m Hojin I’m getting this girl some proper professional help cos she is dangerously exploitable in the throes of her mental issues
There is not a single quiet moment in this show. Constantly a stupid background music is playing in the background. The usual culprits, a ukulele or a banjo or a hollow 4-string guitar, and weird jingle sounding songs. It’s an overproduction nightmare. It’s so garishly produced. It’s like wearing all the jewellery in your locker all at once. And no, Canadians don’t care about walking under the ladder. Did the hong sisters find it while googling plot points ? It’s brutally stupid writing.
Also we’re living in a world where a grown man is falling in love with and because of Korean gang signs - you know those hand hearts. 😂 brilliant writing.
You want something logical and intelligent, then no. If you want something just old school cutesy, nonsensical and silly, just good times with zero brain cells consumed then sure, give it a chance
The actress is getting so caught up in emotions “oh the male lead doesn’t like me”. Who cares?! Be a professional. Get through it. Constantly pouting and pity partying, acting immature.
And the production getting all bunched up about the bad conduct of the talent as if they have no control. And suddenly an interpreter is becoming this integral part of the production. Basically doing the production’s job for them. I wanna see an episode where he is renegotiating his contract to include production credit for all the additional trouble 😅😂

Why is there only one interpreter hired for a two-way communication for this rather improv type of reality show? Inefficient production choices! Also why the hell is no one on Muhee's team protecting their talent? I have been in the presence of Showbiz talent 3-4 times. Once in a professional setting, my company was shooting an ad campaign. At other times at airports and vacation destinations. I have been in contact with sports talent more than showbiz talent, but in both categories, I have seen a bevy of handlers who are always speaking out for and protecting the talent's needs. And yes, even on vacations, I have seen handlers speak to resort staff to arrange xyz stuff for their star.
But here is Cha Mu Hee getting bullied by another talent on set, who then throws a tantrum cos his lens dropped from his eye, allegedly. And there she is, standing all alone like the damsel in distress that she is. And a goddamn interpreter by her side. Where is her effing manager/agency rep?!!!

It's not stockholm syndrome. She didn't "develop" feelings for the guy. She was in love with him prior, had a messy unresolved history with him. And from a certain perspective, you can argue she still loves him but resents him much more.
Not once, in the whole 2 episodes where she is resisting him, does she indicate that she is worried about her safety. The resistance is more along the lines of "I have moved on, I have a man who wants to marry me and you're a jerk".
Having said that, my text above does not in any way condone Hae Jo's actions of scooping up his ex to get his last wishes and ways with her. It's plain and simple: abduction.
How is using the tax code to your benefit to save money "legally" on taxes such a scandalous thing? It is not. The tax code has these loopholes to exploit. And people exploit them. And it is legal.
Also, let's take a moment to appreciate the story as a whole. Fantagio is under review, allegedly. They are letting these stories run amok about their talent to avoid publicity for the agency.
Don't come after me. I am not defending nobody. I am not a Kim Seon Ho fan, or a Cha Eun Wo fan. Like "AT ALL". I don't care about them as actors. Can't act, them two. They just move product. Great for Korean capitalism and all that.
Also the unrequited touching and close proximity of the lady detective is not only very non-Japanese and that’s why they call her weird anyway. But frankly, it can be called out as sexual harassment and misconduct. Lol
And why may I ask none of them have gotten themselves a lawyer. I mean at least the younger brother should have shown up with a lawyer. His brother is dead and now the police is investigating him about a double homicide that happened like 23 years ago.
