I'm on Ep8 (delayed response) - I think the dad is a wimp. You just don't make another woman responsible for your mess and just stand their with your tail between your legs. Why the awkwardness and unease. Just put your foot down and tell the lady hey - I had lunch planned with my son and girlfriend. If you want to spend time with the boy - do it after. Where is your spine dude?
The aunt never showed up when the sister was sick - the daughter never showed up for months on end when the mother was alive and now suddenly everyone is having an opinion cos the dad is trying to move on. What are we ? 8th graders ?
I find the son's behaviour so unnecessary and unacceptable. Dude, your mother took you away to a foreign land with her. You suddenly show up in your father's life with a territorial attitude. Petulant and whiny. And the father is ill-equipped to set him straight. He is in mollifying mode. Why reach for a woman if you can't create a space for her where she is loved and respected? I find the guy such a red flag. Messing up a woman's peace just cos he liked her a lot. While making his mess her problem.
Kim Seon Ho serving Kim Seon Ho. Suzy wearing a wig. I don’t understand these two. Their range is perpetually stuck with playing themselves over and over again 😂
I will say this - Disney's planning for 2026 in the K-Content verse has been much more thorough and deliberate. From the end of 2024, we saw Disney partner and consolidate with good production houses ( TVING bundled subscriptiob partnership). They successfully navigated their way out of the high-budget PR fiasco, known as Knock-Off, and yet managed to secure a strong showing in 2025. And I'll be honest, totally one-upped Netflix on their 2026 plan. We knew what was on Disney's roster for 2026 in terms of big-budget releases well in October/November 2025. While the Netflix lineup was still a guess and an estimate. I think it's the first time in the last 10 years that Netflix has dropped the ball on the K-Content showcase for a year. It took them the third week of January 2026 to put together a lineup. Not sure why that has happened. In any case, whether Disney's lineup in terms of viewership numbers and popularity is better than Netflix's remains to be seen. Netflix dominates the OTT landscape in Korea, so in terms of penetration and numbers, it will predictably have better results. But I am impressed with Disney's preparation for 2026.
Do Hwan works really hard, he looks no different from Geon Woo from 2022 (he started filmimg BH1 right out of military service in 2022). In fact, he looks better.
I love Choi Soo Young. She is one of the rare idol to actor graduates who can actually act. Changes her look for the character. Yoona, please retire from acting or learn from your girl Soo Young.
I think the ex will try to frame the lawyer out of jealousy - I’m saying this while watching episode 9 and at the start. My shot in the dark can change post episode 10
