21 episodes?! I wish I had noticed that before watching the first two. I'm gonna have to drop this. That is way too much investment. This show is from a decade ago, so I guess it's understandable. But I'm so glad modern dramas have culled the fat (no pun intended.) I think it's only China that continues to churn out Dramas which drag on that long. Soon, they'll get the memo, too.
If you can, watch them all. Dex, was on season 3 and then joined as a host for the last two seasons. One of the…
Dex and Da Hee made the rounds appearing together on variety shows promoting season 2. I found them to be an electric combination and presume the production agrees since they brought him on full-time. You can find their (totally hilarious) episodes (13 & 14) from Chef & My Fridge on Netflix.
EP 8-10 RECAP:So episode 8 opens with the girls choosing who to drag to Paradise, and immediately two of them…
Nice writeup. Alarm bells rang for me when Mina was snooping around Sung-Hun’s bed and found his quant book, which would lead an astute sleuth to deduce his career. He shouldn't have been allowed to bring revealing "pleasure reading" to the island. Also, I don't see Go-Eun like a protein shake so much as a snack!
A 16 episode drama, are my eyes deceiving me ? The recent K-dramas are all 12 episodic format. More episodes means…
Hopefully this one is actually written for 16-eps. There have been a few 14-eps stories packed into 16-eps seasons recently. Some people (not me) must enjoy having extra vibe episodes after the story is done.
I just came here to watch Dex and Dahee. Man needs to stop saying Dex Su that's reducing his aura 🤣
I've rewatched Dex & Dahee's 2-part appearance on Chef & My Fridge three times, now. Even my family (who won't watch SI or typically watch anything that requires reading subtitles) got a real kick out of it. It's so fun & funny!
Weird take. It's a Netflix original. What did you expect? Also, Netflix shows don't avoid anything because Netflix…
My point is we will never see an MDL article detailing an OTT drama's (Netflix) decrease in popularity over the course of a season while we often see broadcast network's series dragged over ratings decline.
It seems to me that Netflix' Top 10 rankings are useless for any purpose apart from comparing the popularity of two or more different series of any category dropped concurrently within any given week.
You probably find this weird because you care about ratings. I don't. I care about finding quality scripted entertainment worth my time.
I picked this up again after having forgotten why I dropped it. Oh yeah. The ML is a complete idiot running an investigation impulsively on pure emotions fueled with rage. No wonder the corrupt villains laugh in his face, repeatedly. My only curiosity is how this Inspector Clouseau might bumble his way to solve this case? With a lot of help from the supporting cast, I'm certain.
If the ML and his friend switched spots, meaning the ML was the one that got run over, not only did he recover…
I just paused mid-ep4 to come here and ask about this. Whether it is due to his athleticism or plot armor (the upcoming love story does not involve a gimp) he is healthy and can still play soccer.
There's enough other stuff available to watch that I don't mind leaving this one on the back burner for a while. I'll get to it, eventually. And it's a lot more enjoyable to participate on MDL forums for network shows which release gradually, than it is for an OTT original that drops all episodes at once.
I still do not see how Jeong-u is the ML and not Albert O..
