Oh. The cast list has finally been updated. Jo Bo-ah wasn't listed previously. That part had been originally credited to Moon Ga-Young.

Netflix has plenty of money, but they made the decision to keep it short.

Technically, his next project is Typhoon Family, which streamed before this one but the production came after. 😉

This was a pretty decent superhero drama.I thought the drama could have used an episode or two to flesh out ML…
Moving is THE example which proves that great storytelling finds its audience, even while so many other projects are blaming their failures on 'superhero fatigue'.

Are a lot of people really still into ST? That show is not even close to what it used to be!
Well good for everyone who does enjoy ST5. I can't criticize that!

Those vines worry me. They look like they are pushing their way through the boards & shingles and will make the roof leak! Believe me, I deal with this at home. OTOH, I don't have magical candy I can squish into the holes to stop the leaks.

Shows like this really hinge on the reveals and it did a pretty good job. Can anyone recommend a show that to…
I normally have a strong aversion to lies and gaslighting, but managed to stick with this series despite that being a strong theme. One K-drama which I adore partly because it deals with misunderstanding quickly is Hello? Me! And there is one exception where a significant secret between two characters is finally revealed in a most satisfying way. This drama is also on Netflix. (If you saw Castaway Diva then the actress who played the younger version of Park Eun Bin's character also shines in this one):

I don't disagree with you, but others might.

Scriptwriting books & courses only emphasize that 'every element in a story be necessary, while irrelevant elements should be removed'. The sister did serve a purpose by contrasting her initial "success" with the FL's "failure", and she also catalyzed the FL onto her adventure journey by sending her to Jeju. And by the end of the story that contrast was reversed with their roles reversed. But every thread left unresolved leaves an itch in the viewer's brain. When these add up they become an irritation.

We should have also gotten to see Da Rim reunite with her sister in Jeju, like how we got to see the loan sharks again (who likewise were only a plot device from early episodes), in jail with the villain Tae Yeong.

He's not a Vulcan or a trained fighter. Instinct and adrenaline kick in during conflict. Maybe ego as well. Even 35 year-olds (he stated his age in ep1) can get caught up in the moment. But yeah, he'd do better to be less Kirk and more Spock.

An adaptation can be close to the original or widely divergent, depending on the agreement negotiated by the copyright owner and the studio. In this case, the author & publisher both acceded to the changes requested by Netflix, and were well compensated.

The difference between mice & humans is that mice will eventually stop exploring the maze after they realize there is no more cheese, but humans never give up. This drama stopped giving us cheese after ep2, but we kept watching!

Maybe I missed something but did she reunite eventually with her sister?
She got very close to finding her sister, but got distracted at the last minute… by a dynamite kiss. And then she immediately forgot that she even had a sister, as if the kiss transferred the other person's amnesia to her.
