I noticed that as well: no matter how many likes an editorial gets, it does not stay longer than 48h in the featured sections before it sinks into oblivion buried under insipid news articles a very few people seem to read! You have to make an effort and go look for Editorials: MDL publishes them but they do everything they can to make them invisible! And these Editorials make this site so special!

🤣🤣Great minds think alike! I had the same reaction when I realized, about a year ago, that MDL is concentrating exclusively on mainstream K dramas on the homepage! News articles(copy/paste from other sites I think) and editorials(Netflix dramas only!) were only about K drama so much so I do not look at it anymore;I just read the users' editorials when they show up! I am glad that at least those seem to be back. 😅
How many doors are actually there? In episode 7 they mention 12 doors but when his roommate opens the game on their computer there are 14 doors and then the first one disappears!
BTW, I wish I could watch it in three days but between the work, the sleep and the subs difficult to read (white letters on white characters= headache!LOL Thanks for the subs LordFengCui, I really appreciate your gift to all fans!🥰) it is probably going to take me at least a week!

Wasn't there another article about chinese bromances already here a few months ago? Don't be mistaken, I can tell the difference between chinese bromances which are implied BLs and other countries' bromances which are just great friendships between men! The problem is that MDL seems to allow only articles about chinese bromances (implied romances) and not other countries' BLs (explicit or at least open romances)! And since this drama is not officially a BL, we can have an article about it! Unofficially, of course it is! Just like The Untamed, WOH etc. etc. When are we going to have an article about thai and japanese BLs? God knows! Baby steps!!
They'll release it again after re-censored and re-re-edited??? Lol. So you should watch this 'uncut' version before…
You must have seen the twitter announcement today, right? If it was pulled so quickly a couple of months ago, wasn't it because of the content which had not been censored properly? It is my humble guess that they needed to re-edit the whole thing. I sincerely hope I am wrong!
But is this drama really a BL? Bromance articles are allowed as far as I know and in China they are allowed to make only those! When we see an in depth article like this one about real BLs (Thai, Japanese, SK) then we will applaud!
Thank you for this article: I just skimmed through it since I started watching this drama today after the news that it was going to be released again soon. Probably censored and reedited, if I understand China correctly? I was actually not interested in watching it to begin with but the news made me curious! I'll make sure to read your article correctly after I'd finished watching this!
It was made implicitly but quite obvious, really obvious..It is said IQIYI will re-broadcast it. If this is true,…
I'll try to watch it all before the doubly censored version comes out. There is no release date yet, right? I hope they'll wait at least a week...Thank you so much....
I am starting this now and the first episode is gripping! Hope it stays that way! Thank you, @LordFengCui! A question for those who saw it: is it really so very obviously BL and not a c-bromance that it needed to be banned for it to be reedited as censors demanded?
I'd give season 1 a solid 7.5/10...i really liked it... preerambo was not my fav.... i liked oatpop story... tho…
Is lazy subber's version still available somewhere? I'm trying to find it but don't seem to be able to! I watched her version of Together With Me ages ago which I finished only because of her hilarious comments! So I would like to give this one a chance but only with the right subs!:-) Thanks!
Bullying is a worldwide problem, yes, but the one in South Korea is really severe. It takes not only place at…
So true. I think there are two terms in english for this phenomenon or, rather, crime: bullying for the incidents taking place in school with kids and harassment for workplace and adults. Whatever the term, and if what you say is correct, which probably is since there is not one single drama where a character is not bullied/harassed and the writers write about their lives, SK needs to do more to solve this problem both in real life and on line. They seem brutal with each other following the basest instincts of survival of the fittest (i.e. the strongest/richest bully) which often results in victims' taking their own lives while the adults in schools claim ignorance. Tragic!
Indeed, it is worldwide problem and honestly, I doubt it's ever going to be completely eliminated, but it is important…
I only wish that the movies like Night Flight could give the push in the right direction for the societies to change but it is disheartenig to see the change not really coming...at least not fast enough for the majority of victims!
I am so happy to see the Editorials back. I hope for good! Fingers crossed! You keep coming up with such interesting topics so I can only wish for the Powers-That-Be at MDL to rescind their interdiction of LGBT or BL topics, so you can write a few more well researched articles....🥰As they say: Hope spring's eternal! 😀
Another great article! Thanks, BB! Keep them coming, please!
Bullying is a worldwide problem and each country deals with it as they can but sometimes I feel that the Koreans speak of it the most often (therefore the majority of films & dramas in your article are Korean!) and still nothing seems to get better there. Someone is bullied in every single korean work of tv fiction especially those taking place in school (cut-throat environment apparently!), I think.... I read the webtoon "Weak Hero Class 1" and it was so violent and heartbreaking that I decided never to read or watch anything about bullying ever again! So I carefully check for bullying tags nowdays! "Night Flight" was one of the first Korean movies I watched when I discovered BLs. The poster makes you think it is a cutesy high school romance! But it is everything but cute... Amazing film but I felt like I was punched in the gut while watching it!
I just finished the first episode and it is unfortunately screaming "manga adaptation" at which I shudder in terror!🤣 I wish they would tone down the manga element: it is so OTT!
Are people or businesses that respect customs and abide by the law cowards? I like Yoo Ah-in, but calling Netflix…
Are people allowed to mend their ways or do they deserve to be punished for life for the errors of judgement/mistakes/crimes they made? It would not be cool with me, but I would not blame YAI for his supplier's crime! People who commited crimes and were punished for them are not allowed to work? Are drug users forbidden to work in SK? Is there a law in SK which makes employing drug users illegal? Because that is the crux of the matter! Yes Netflix are coward, buckling under SK netizens' pressure.

The annoying thing is that the MDL refuses to explain the reasons behind the ban on BL articles!
