There is another Vietnamese BL nobody is talking about Stand By Me (or Small Island Raising Cats) which aired its 15th episode a few days ago. I cannot find the information about how many episodes there are going to be and it is not on World of BL. I haven't seen it yet but it says Boyslove so..... https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLVG_B4qKfQfYxHlbIbBfJJLt7VqaKkkRB
I've been reading your reviews for some time now and, frankly, more often than not, I do not agree with you. Which is fine: I like reading different views on a drama because those make me aware of things I might have missed. I think, though I may be wrong, that our life experiences are what influence our appreciation of a work of art/entertainment.
I read your full review of this drama, and it's as if you read my mind. Everything you wrote, I complained about while watching. People here kindly told me to go and see an eye doctor and/or a psychiatrist. I am so happy to find someone else who was bothered by the age thing, the passivity, the too many tropes and so on.... This drama was just awful! Thank you so much for this review. And all the others! Keep up the good work!
Apparently not as diagnosed by Rubber Soul M.D. psychiatrist.🤣🤣🤣 I was extremzly disappointed by this list but I still did not want to hurt the owner's feelings too much: thus the encouragement!Passive agressive is my middle name!
Are people allowed to regret, repent and redeem themselves for the crime committed or not?
I do not know the details of this case in particular but what drives me mad is people on the internet judging before knowing the facts, and wishing the perps, as you say, dead. And everyone connected with them too. This prompted my comment! I am very much against the death penalty. For any crime. I know that it is an unpopular opinion in the US! In this particular case, there seem to be many gray areas. A commenter below appears to be familiar with the case: apparently it was prostitution and not rape. Apart from this one case, the actor has never been accused of a sexual assault again. To my knowledge. So either he is hiding his deviancy really well or this is the case of "hell hath no fury like a woman scorned". I don't know. But what do you think about the law enforcement and prosecutors in the UK who refused to investigate Pakistani grooming gangs for a decade, afraid of being accused of racism and islamophobia? I know that it has nothing to do (not the same country, not the same society, not the same laws) with this actor but, ultimately, he is accused of the same crimes by the netizens: grooming and rape of a minor.
I won't be adding anything. This list is far too long as it is. I barely looked through the first page because I lost interest in it after the first 20 entries. It is a shame because a list with real underrated gems would be helpful once all these super popular dramas which are NOT underrated gems , are taken off of it. Nevertheless, your voting list seems popular so who am I to complain.🤣
This is a joke, right? These are not underrated gems: this is just the list of the most popular, the users' favourite dramas which you can also find under "EXPLORE" tag above. What is the point of this voting list? What is missing on the top of this list are dramas which a really underrated as in rated below 7.5 not those rated just below 10!
this website is a bubble. don't take it as representation of all global asian dramas audience. also don't think…
Let's agree to disagree. You are an optimist, I am the opposite. We'll see who is right in the long run. I sincerely hope it is you because China is heavily relying on soft power these days (tiktok : anyone heard of it?) and micro dramas are the next logical step. I do not trust China or the young users of tiktok enough to give them the benefit of doubt.

It is not the number of watcher that is important but the influence these dramas exert on viewers. Recent K dramas have been mediocre at best and many seasoned watchers have been dropping them as if they were hot potatoes, if their comments/feeds are to be believed. The last K drama which was actively discussed on feeds for the entire duration of its broadcast was My Dearest. On the other hand, these c dramas are all the rage, the numbers of feeds posts is insane, the comments sections are extremely active on these dramas' pages and they are unusually tame and that is how you recruit new watchers. I am convinced that, in a year, c drama will have definitely surpassed k dramas in number of watchers as well. Most of the people here do not care about heavy censorship, they are young, teens and students and even in the west, that's all they have ever known (policing language in order not to offend). It may bother you as it bothers me but we are a minority and that is not going to change soon! Panem et circenses! I sincerely hope that I am wrong!
I'm confused whether this is a compliment or satire (probably satire). Propaganda is a weird word, everything…
Neither satire nor a compliment but a fact which scares the hell out of ME. If you do not mind the chinese communist party propaganda and enjoy their dramas, I am happy for you! But you cannot put the equation mark between democracy and dictatorship. That's all!
