Yeah I saw that too, but BFX has always been friendly in nature. It'll be good if FQW has no motive behind it, but the way she involved herself with ml's personal matter and how she dealt with the maids looks to me she is expecting to be the lady of the house. I mean she basically offered marriage already.
So just lowering my expectations of the decent novel 2fl a bit.

Xi-er's brother is actually still alive here. Idk how big or small his role will be but hoping to see the siblings together knowing their relationship in the novel. And is he gonna take og JR's role..? Because if he is, well damn.

Previously the maid was in denial, now 2fl kinda is too.. But since ml knows those info I expect he'll be smart about it.

ZL being cute, and HFX.. he's happy alright.
On the other hand BFX really hesitated meeting him soon because of the foodings. lol relatable.

11/40 I didn't know catching bugs could be so romantic.
HFX about to become healthier with that good blood circulation.
But BFX didn't even bother for more than 2 seconds and went right back at the food. I can't. lol

That'd be nice. It can also avoid a rift between her and LH.

And yes, she was so smart despite the number of her men compared to the others.

Could be esp. if they are older in age since its culture/tradition.

Yeah, this was discussed here before by novel readers. We don't mind ml having bigger part as long as her character isn't lessened to compensate for it.

I know its for the romance, but still..
Anyways, since its early I still have hopes.

And if the drama follows the novel, looking forward to seeing him again.

I liked YYZ in the novel and the actor made me like him even more in the drama.

And he had chemistry with her despite their short screen time together so I wouldn't mind seeing him again with her in another project.

Same in the novel, yet I don't remember her being this dependent esp. since she's not hurt or injured.

There was no sect in the novel and iirc she was not gone from Qing for long so its hard to say for now since the drama hasn't set her background yet.

More like just random words. 😅 I've waited for this for long so I'm enjoying each ep. just like I did with each chapter of the novel because before we know it it'll be the finale.
But yes go ahead and enjoy my ups and downs and feels for this drama. lol

BFX having a hard time temporarily running a sect (actually just 9 people) and being too dependent to ml.. Not what I signed up for. Hopefully its just room for character development. Because despite adjusting my expectations, I still need to see the King of Qing and the Commander of Fengyun Army.

HFX turning down FQW's offer, but she took it as a challenge instead. Very different from the novel, esp. her getting involved with the receipt when it was none of her business. My hopes for a decent 2fl has now gone down.
And that maid is also sus. The reason I couldn't enjoy the scene of ml giving fl a hairpin because it reminded me that he did the same thing before.

But the second noodle scene + the bgm was really nice. My favorite in the ep.

Oh I was talking about the reaction of commoners and his mother. So even if he knows his brother is better than that, rejection is real for him that has experienced it before.

They are but the difference is ml have good people on his side while FC doesn't. Yeah, I'm concerned about it since I don't want them to go down that path and for FJ to succeed.

There's so many c-celebs + them having 2 names, I can't remember all. I usually remember by role if they play it well so looking forward to her here.

We know it as epilepsy but people from that time thought he was being possessed so ofc he'll hide it from his little brother that he cares for as he might abandon him too just like his mother.

The killings is a different thing. Compred to ml, FC is actually sick and the uncle isn't helping. I'm just taking about their relationship. Its not the same weight as worrying someone that genuinely cares for you and could also lose his head for it.

lol I guess my expectations for him is too high that I hoped he's protecting her.

I don't usually watch dramas just because of the actors, but XHCL got me looking forward to it just because of that one scene of the leads together from TLB.

I remember my mom watching one/few of the condor dramas. But I was too young that other than LYF, everyone else's face is a blur. lol

I'm not there yet. But I can already see the plot heading that way.
