I enjoyed S1, can't say the same for S2. I see Nanno as chaos, not justice so I never questioned logic and fairness. In Apologies and Social Love, yes jealousy is normal but it doesn't justify the actions just because they're in love. The girls had many chances to step back and just walk away, but didn't. I've seen so many true crime cases where its the girls/women fighting and killing each other instead of leaving the cheater boyfriend/husbands. And the torment is the punishment. Seeing someone they just killed and buried come back alive and well must've messed up their heads. Them continously suffering and slowly crumbling down is more satisfying than a one time slap on the wrist (for underage suspects).
In HiSo, there are many stubborn kids or those considered bad but would be the first one to defend their parents, Dino is the exact opposite. He's playing the good son but stealing and ashamed of them behind their backs. Like you said, he treats them "extremely well" making it ironic. He should've dropped the charade the moment he saw them as servants, but his reputation is more important. The harm was not done to others, but to those closest to him. Remember filial piety is a huge thing in Asian culture.
Anyways, I watched S1 when it aired so its been a while. This was a good recap and the different views are interesting.
I doubt it since fl's at the back. One of the twins is there too. Even if they both fight and not just him "saving" her, I still think its taking away from the sibling moment.
Still, I hope you're right because she didn't need help. During the war, yes, but definitely not in that scene.
I agree. I just watched episode 4 and we see some prenup photos in 'natural scenes', it looks so cute!! I like…
Yes. I like that they did a whole photoshoot, just like fl's previous drama. I'll def check it out when its completed, make sure its worth the roller coaster first, its a lakorn afterall.
I disagree. He is cunning, calculative and ruthless. As someone who doesn't get his hands dirty, manipulating behind the scene is his expertise.
The "only him backing up BFX" in the novel already changed in the trailer with fl being the one behind ml, more than once in that short clip. Not surprised, guessing its part of the deal to make the actor sign. I only mind about the alley scene because that was significant between fl and her little brother, who completely disappears once the politics and war start.
If the drama wanted to show off his skills, they can make up scenes just for him. Expand the Yongzhou arc, elaborate the time he was building up his "reputation, make an entire scene out of his 1-2 liners. They can do so much to ml without taking away from fl.
Agree with you..at first lighting really bothered me but story and acting was great that i totally forgotten after…
Exactly. One would know its lowbudget from the get go, so if they kept watching thats kinda on them. Its amusing, its like complaining of getting scared after watching a horror movie. lol
That's what I'm hoping for too. I read somewhere that because this novel is more female centered that Yang Yang…
The leads form an alliance later on, but before all the politics, when it comes to individual skills they're equal. They're called "Bai Feng Hei Xi" for a reason.
Exactly. Its one of the only few solo scenes of BFX displaying her skills before all the politics. It was well detailed too, so for me its a highlight scene.
Its when the little brother witnessed fl's skills as she fights and protects him from those masked people. She defeated them alone. That scene showed why she is "the BFX". No one was needed to come help/save them. And I was so looking forward to that in LA.
For now its only a trailer, I'm really hoping for my suspicion to be proven wrong once it airs.

Yes. I heard that as well when only ZLS was present at the announcement as it took a while for YY's name to be confirmed. But I was expecting for the drama to accommodate him/give him more parts by exploring more of ml's background (Yongzhou arc) not putting him in fl's solo scenes because he has his own.
They're called BFHX, they can def shine without making the other any less than their characters.
The strong women. Whether physically, mentally or emotionally, and regardless of sides, all of them were reasonable.…
And the fl, and her relationship with her generals. The words she told the remaining ones after "that" loss was the only scene in the entire novel that moved me.
I liked how complex yet real and lovable each and every character was. I don't know if the actors can portray…
The strong women. Whether physically, mentally or emotionally, and regardless of sides, all of them were reasonable. The absence of annoying female characters (common in cdramas/novels) while reading was good. Though after the author's note, I guess I should lower my expectations.
The alley scene from the trailer being so different makes sense now... I expect modifications, I just hope they make fl stay true to her character, nothing less just to make the ml shine.
I'm still looking forward to the drama but I guess I should lower my high expectations a bit.
Sila is my all time fave thai drama, and Ive follwed both Fern and Tor haven't give me any vibe like that in any…
Qie Shi Tian Xia/Who Rules The World. So I prefer something light esp. if it will still be on air when QSTX starts. Yes, so far it doesn't seem like fl and 2ml have romantic feelings but they're still married. Also from the trailer, there was someone sleeping with someone..? it'll be messy later. Though I'm sure the tension will be good because its forbideen love + good chemistry. Maybe I'll check it out when its completed.

I've seen HJS, its one of only 3 thai bg dramas I actually felt good chemistry. This one, the chemistry is promising from the trailer and promos (no drama bts too unlike HJS) and I've noticed your name in some pages, our opinions aren't usually far from each other. Its just that I know this will be messy and I'm only looking for something light as filler while waiting for my main drama.

One is their real names and the other is their aliases.
I expect modifications, I just hope they make fl stay true to her character, nothing less just to make the ml shine.
