The timeline is, ml planned to marry 3fl but backs out. Then he had marriage alliance with fl. But something happened during the war that made fl furious at him and he doubted if she'll be able to ever forgive him. He was comforted by 2fl and he was moved, hence the halfway proposal.
Its bickering and teasing, then ambiguous and angst, the proper romance is at the end. Yes, at the beginning the ml and 2ml compete to get the world. In the end, 2ml gets the world while ml gets the girl.
The novel's main story is about politics and war, the romance is secondary. But the drama seems to have more romance.
If you're not into wuxia, politics and war then its indeed gonna be heavy because there will be more of those…
Its not, the ml didn't actually get married to the other women. Politics and war are huge factors in the story. The ml has his own plans, which the fl is aware and understands. And yes he did give up his plans at the end to be with her, HE.
Basically, its politics with 3fl and 2fl while its politics + genuine feelings with fl. But this is from the novel, it may or may not change in the drama.
Who are you thinking he might be playing? Looking forward to seeing him in another role! He was a great duo with…
Seeing as he's not in the trailer and early batches of posters, he's probably just playing a small or guest role. But if ever he's playing Jiuwei, he'd fit the description and we'll see the duo together again.
So yeah, my mind thinks its just a minor role but my heart hopes Jiuwei or a character related to Xi'er.
Got excited when I heard Zirui is part of WRTW too.😊 I enjoyed their tandem in TROTR.
Right?! I always enjoyed whenever they're both on screen. And knowing they're still friends after the drama makes me look forward to them working again here, whether its the same comedic dynamic or something different/new.
This was cute, fluffy and funny. Idaoki perfectly embodied the manga's chaotic mc and super chill ml.
Its light, no villains, and I liked all the changes from the manga except for the chocolates as it has different meaning in Christmas and Valentines. But overall, its a good la adaptation.
This was so wholesome and pure (yes even when ml had some thristy thoughts lol) but overall its healthy. The mc's growth not just in romance but in other aspects as well was wonderful to see.
A romcom that is actually heart fluttering and funny, not cringey. Kurodachi being the perfect embodiment of confident gay and panic gay. lol I enjoyed this immensely that I prefer this more than the manga.
Overall, its a great la adaptation. A feel good drama with a high rewatch value.
Not sure with "all" but she definitely did most of her wire/stunts in her latest dramas (GZJ, QSTX, XHCL) reuters.
She had mentioned that she managed her weight because its important in wire stunts. She also improved her posture compared to before. So it wouldn't be a surprise if she also trained in horseback riding because she is hardworking. Its one of the things to look forward to in the la.
Now that there is an official date, old and new reuters are coming in plenty. It'd be nice if the drama has more romance. But I also want the angst to be good as well, esp. "that event" when fl legit has murderous aura towards ml.
Looking forward to the leads acting that scene, mainly ml because this would be my first YY drama.
I'm currently reading the novel. but i think I'm gonna drop it coz i think the plots are too heavy for my preference.…
If you're not into wuxia, politics and war then its indeed gonna be heavy because there will be more of those as you continue.
1. Yes, proper romance is at the end. At the start its mostly bickering/teasing, then in the middle during marriage alliance they're still ambiguous. 2. The ml is clear telling fl not to interfere with his plans, and she understands he has women he pursues/keeps for political purposes. She herself has marriage alliance with him.
The angst is mostly them being ambiguous with each other. And their military also being wary of each other despite the alliance, esp. "that event" which I think is worse than any misunderstanding. Because a misunderstanding can be cleared, but that event can never be undone.
Guuuuys, I need to know :P Was there a love triangle in the novel? And if there was, was it very annoying?
I didn't consider any proper love triangle on either side.
There's at least 3 other male characters that liked fl, while at least 2 other female characters that liked ml. But between the leads, the fl is the one that has genuine feelings while ml is all about political alliances. Though near the end he did feel something to one of 2 and proposed halfway to her.
But if the "annoying" question is specifically for secondary female characters (like in most dramas) then there's none. One of the things I liked about the novel is the strong women (physically, mentally, emotionally) they have grace and dignity, no schemings. The 2 female characters involved with ml is actually friends/friendly with fl. Though the drama may or may not change that.
Same. I hope there will be more romance as compared to novel
Yeah, no mention of kiss as there's also not much romantic scenes in the novel. But a kiss is the least they could do since they can't show a lovemaking scene. lol
Hey girl did you watch the fight scene where lusi lands on the swords and hits everyone..i think that is the alley…
Based on the 1st trailer, their clothes are almost same style/color in that scene. Maybe your eyes are better, but like I said, I'll wait for it to air.
And I don't mind the other fight scenes, only the alley one because it was important for the siblings relationship esp. on how the brother views Xi'er.

Hi, its hard to distinguish if it was really her because all I saw was feet and a fan. The seconds before and after that were not in the alley. And it doesn't help that the drama didn't dress them like the novel (white and black) which would've made it easier.
Its hard to tell so I'll reserve my judgement when the actual scene airs.
3ml is Yan Yingzhou?I thought 3ml is Yu Wuyuan and 4ml is YYZ. I hope my expectations for LA are the same as the…
3ml is indeed YWY, I'm talking about the actor listed here in mdl. I was just surprised because I was expecting to see him as YWY but turns out its not him but another actor not listed here.
And not sure about YYZ as 4ml in the drama because other than the 3 main mls, they might change/make other male characters role bigger esp. in Yongzhou arc. There's also Xuekong, Jiurong, Jiuwei, etc, so I just called him first love.
Its bickering and teasing, then ambiguous and angst, the proper romance is at the end.

Waiting for Jiuwei any day now..
And if its true, I need to know what role Zirui is playing, because if he is playing the character I'm thinking then it'd be a wonderful reunion.

3ml - wait, why is he not in white..?
mdl.. LRL is not YWY..!
Anyways, Xi'er as King Qing looks so good. As someone who enjoyed the novel, I'm keeping my expectations at bay but still looking forward to the LA.
