it feels like a typical japanese political drama with better production values. for me, i see the western influence during the scenes involving the reporter and ryu.

i understand what lnts was about. unfortunately, understanding the plot of a show doesn't correlate with its quality. i am also not comparing a killer paradox with lnts. they have nothing to do with one another. perhaps your reading comprehension is getting in the way of what i was trying to say.

that being said, sex portrayed in korean drama always seems to look forced, like a chore, or listless, no matter the writing's circumstances. while that may be the case (that it's forced, a chore, or listless for the characters), i'd rather they not portray it at all if it's too much of a social taboo or burden to film properly. it's just off-putting. i'm still horrified by a frozen flower and i saw that at least a decade ago. the latest case in point is ltns. i was looking forward to it, but it's not watchable.

but she's bad at her job despite her experience. she is in no place to judge someone who makes better decisions and has more humility than she.

i guess you like what you like, but they dress poorly, overall. it is true that sometimes they get it right, but it's rare.

the deaf character is shen mo's biological brother. they sent him to an orphanage because he was deaf and they didn't want to take care of him. they probably really sent him so shen mo would have no one to protect her from her uncle.

i'm not so sure, the wife was toxic. she lost trust in him, and between her job and how her mind works, it manifested itself in a certain way, he deserved to lose her trust.
