Although very different in story both were directed by the same person and they have quite a few similar elements such as having:
-a rich male lead who is also a film major
-an openly gay character
-characters who are in college
And -an amazing ost.

In both our main lead has had an unrequited crush on her best friend for a long time and are now being confronted with it. Both of them also have short but nice mother-daughter moments and a little storyline between the mcs other friend, who is lgbt. The osts are great as well and they just generelly gave me a similar feel and have a similar aesthetic (and i think both have lots of night and driving shots). Both star Jasmin Curtis too.

The main cast in both consists of girls from mnl48 and you can finsd both subbed on the mnl48 youtube channel. They also have a friendship, unrequited love and moving on element and are very short and easy to watch. The stories itself arent exactly similar though and 2020 Vision is alot better just objectively.

Both are comedic short movies by the same director for the same campaign. Both follow high school girls who have a crush on a guy called Sarawut. Theyre really funny and enjoyable.

Both films follow a trio of siblings consisting of two sons (with the older one starting to become more and more like his father) and a daughter who after a certain accident that caused the death of someone in their family stopped talking to their mother. Now shes coming back into their lives.
The stories are different but the characters reconcile and have lots of emotional interactions.

Although very different in tone, storyline, ending etc both movies are tragic comedies whose main character just has to go through so much shit and you just feel sorry for them.

Kind of arthouse-y, slice of life-y, calm movies that were directed by the same person and have a similar (if not the same) atmosphere. Because theyre arthouse theyre kind of niche and dont appeal to everybody (maybe even Uncle Boonmee more so than Blissfully Yours) but seem to be quite beloved among critics

both dramas are comedy focused and have some more absurd scenes and break the 4th wall sometimes. They also center around lgbt love stories and the endings are left rather open (YYY at least has been continued while Lily Fever seems to never get a follow up).

Both adress movies that underneath all that dark comedy quite a few interesting and more serious things and are really human. Theyre also quite cruel actually, they might make you laugh alot but at the same time still hurt you. Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit knows what hes doing.

both movies are, kind of wrongfully even, marked as romance when theyre really realistic and human dramas with the same kind of comedy here and there. Get yourself some tissues ready because they really get you in your feels, even when you least expect it. Both also feature Sunny Suwanmethanon and have a similar and great ost. Nawapol Thamrongrattanarit is a genius.

both are family centered movies by the great Koreeda with a similar feel and atmosphere, realistic and human characters and a more 'slow' and calm pace. Our main protagonists (both having the same name) and the grandmas are played by Abe Hiroshi and Kiki Kirin respectively. Both movies also have similar family constellations (sister with two children, son with one son...). If you enjoyed one youll probably enjoy the other.
